I have been pulled over MANY times. I've driven with a license invalid for my state (you are meant to change within 3 months of moving, I was 15 months in). I was calm and cool 3 times for this issue and have not been fined for it. I was Random Breath Tested once with several defects on my car (mods) but was only fined for inside of my tires wearing out which I was genuinely surprised at. Keeping my cool I avoided several fines. It's shit dealing with them but easier if u suck it up n cooperate

depends on your country, in my country malaysia there is bunch of "Robber with licence" - police. when they search your car they actually put "extra package" in your car, this may get your intro big trouble, never let them search!

@dafranx Airports are not public property, they are private and you wave your rights when you enter, same with clubs, and other places that have metal detectors or private security searching people, YOU DON'T NEED TO ENTER, if you want to fly, you can be searched.

Someone please reply to this, if a police officer pulls me over at 1am for no reason, because he said he has suspicions of me being a burglar and because I had a touch (it was dark) he says he wants to search me than can I refuse to the search and walk on or does he have to search me because of his suspitions?

Always refuse the search no matter what. Even if he says he suspects you of something. If there's legal probably cause they'll search you anyway. Also the mere fact that they ask to search is a dead give away that they have none and need you to consent to it. So just say no politely. If you get into it about why you don't want them to search keep refusing politely and at some point ask if you're under arrest, if you're being charged with anything and if you're free to go.

i had something like this happen to me i was in a car with my friend his sister an her BF. i did not know her BF had a gun on hem even thow he had pappers on it. he did not know there was ont still in it. it wennt off in the car when he was puting it in the glove box. the cop pulled us over . yes the cop had to be safe but when he gt us all out of the can an seen the gun he fastly bulled his an ponted at all of us . an the guy with the gun told hem . ser i have papperd

@010010ryan Why would you? It has absolutely NO ADVANTAGE to you if you do. Personally, when I was ~18 I consented to a search and the officer intentionally tore apart the speaker boxes in the back of my car. I was 18 and those speakers represented saving up several paychecks. Never again.

This use to work...when citizens had rights.Cops do what they want to do when they want to do it.Run your ass to a lawyer and tell them "how the cops violated your rights".Then let the lawyer tell you how much his fee is to take it to court.The end of your "big lawsuit" right there.Everybody lost their rights when bush was in office.Go ahead the next time a cop screws with you and "flex-your-rights and flex your ass into jail.Best thing to do is what the cop says and hope you don't go to jail.

What if cops dont ask for your consent to search and just scream "PUT ALL YOUR SHIT ON THE HOOD"? we were just walking along doing nothing, it was 8:00 and he said it was past curfew! i said "Excuse me, but, did they change the curfew time to 8, because last i checked it was 10:30?" He just ignored me! can you believe it, and the cop let my money fly away off the hood of his car!

wow, peace officers don't do any of that shit on a regular basis. Some are crooked yeah, but thats why our department has partners to hold eachother accountable, we are trained with respect toward our citizens, not this crap they are trying to make you believe. We don't ask all of you to trust us but at least give us the chance to help you when we can and don't try provoke our every action, it's as hard for us as is it is for you, we're just doing the job we have been untrusted with as LE.
