Like the husky story...I too had an experience with a husky..I basically was going to commit suicide one night and found a husky in a grocery store wondering around( it was middle of night and only people that worked there were there..no owners of him. I took him home and he gave me a purpose and after 5 days I found his owner and I went and got help...

I believe God sent you that dog for that short period of time to thwart your plans and give you a purpose and get you to take your mind off of your plans so you could really think about things. @z0ro_ .. I have experienced this, I know. Sometimes it's a time dilation, I hypothesize. .. It's when the sound comes back on that I have noticed it and thought, "Holy crap, what just happened?" .. The Bushmen, when they are animal tracking, can make a little time jump back and see the animals they are tracking. I did this once. Yup. Consciousness is not local to space-time and we have the ability to move our own consciousness through space-time. Some people have this ability but it is very difficult to measure or demonstrate it to others. .. I have found other people who have these abilities but you have to avoid the drugs and the New Age garbage. [And avoid the crazy people.]

Rhonda Lynn I was listening to this just now and I reached down to pet my dog because I'd felt her rub against my knee . She wasn't there. I had been listening to the suicide story and thinking about my own thoughts in recent days , due to the mess the country is in seeping into my life and things becoming more and more difficult , being alone (except for my dogs) , etc. . I'd JUST been thinking that offing oneself could lead to becoming "stuck" between dimensions , or (?) , and that it would be a HUGE mistake . That's when , I swear , I felt my dog rub up against my knee and absentmindedly reached to pet her , but she wasn't there . It hit me , was someone telling me that my dogs need me too much ? Please forgive the overly long comment ... Too much time alone causes long comments . Among other things .

23:15 "I reached for my .44 magnum" My older brother worked as a fishing guide in Alaska in the late seventies. He was issued a .44 magnum revolver. They had a joke. " make sure to file off the front sight so when the bear shoves it up your ass it doesn't hurt as much". My brother was awakened one night when a rather large brown bear ripped open his tent resulting in my brother firing a " warning shot" right above the bears head. He said the bear just stared at him for what seemed like an eternity like " oh, yeah mutherfucker? I can clearly see that you haven't bothered to file your front sight off yet". Then the bear casually wandered off.

The story of the little girl, is very similar to my own. When I was a teen and was visiting a friends house. I was heading towards the bathroom when in a split second I saw a white figure and as fast as I saw it I felt it rush right through me. I felt a cool rush of energy through my body. I was in shock then Adrenaline kicked in and I felt hot all over. I ran to tell my friend and we both ran out of there. I’ve had many experiences with spirits growing up but it’s the first time I had a physical experience with them. It only made me feel even more fearful of them, knowing they have the ability to touch you. I believe in the spirit world as I’ve seen them since I was 6yrs of age, and practical in all locations I’ve lived in, and in different countries. They appear both morning and night. And some of them are unaware of your presence, like they’re in their own time warp.

Milano, just tell these spirits to leave you alone, to get out and stay out in the name of Jesus Christ. Don't let them interfere into your life like this. Some people have more than just the six senses.. there is a seventh sense, most don't ever experience.

doves1 Pelligreano I don’t see them as much as I did when I was a child, but I still see them periodically still. I’ve moved to a different country now and on my first day in this country I saw two spirits in the forest when I was on the road, stopping at a red light. That was the last most clear sighting I saw. After that it was just a few black shadow figures here and there, for me shadow people are the most common sightings I’ve experienced.

Milano Ridge I’ve only seen something like that once in my life. I had sleep paralysis and saw my legs lifting into the air and at my feet there was a shadow figure. I wasn’t scared but it was really intense. I honestly believe there was really something there and it wasn’t just a hallucination.

Love Park Ranger stories! Enjoy your vacation! YOUNG CACTUS!!
@Bryzle1
@Bryzle1 4 жыл бұрын
Young Cactus, About 30 years ago I had wanted to become a park ranger. I was an outdoorsman and loved being in the woods of Oregon...as I spent every spare moment I had exploring the woods every chance I got after I had moved there from the Midwest. Being a ‘flat lander’, I simply fell in love with the Pacific Northwest and its beauty that you just don’t get to experience in Kansas. Until one night I had in the woods, I was all set to go full into getting a forestry degree at Eugene. But, something so freaking weird happened to me out there one night that it so radically changed my perspective that not only did I not go to school and get my degree in Forestry, I moved out of the state and went back to Kansas. I have to second guess every time I have vacation time because my first instinct is to head back there and go camping, but then I remember that one horrifying night and inevitably I change my mind every single time. There is some pretty weird stuff that happens out there. And, if anyone wants to know my story, just send me a note and I will share. Everything from demons coming out of a campfire, to Bigfoot throwing boulders at me, to accidentally kissing some kind of ‘animal’ on the lips while walking down a pitch black trail. Even a dead guy boiled to death at Bagby Hot springs and a hiker who walked directly toward and over the edge of a cliff at night. And, a story of where buddy of mine who once sat down on a log to rest while hiking, then suddenly vanish after me taking my eyes off him for about two seconds. Or, me getting buried in a tree well. Or, me waking up to being buried in five feet of snow, or seeing it snow 10’ in a day. Or, getting caught on Mount Bachelor in a 100 mph storm.

Jax Gillon ...if you are referring to Bigfoot. Being a ‘newbie’ to the outside life. I never thought about Bigfoot much. It wasn’t until several years after that I really started understanding what I had experienced out there that gave me ‘pause’ for concern. I lived in Portland, Oregon for five years. Every weekend I went to a place called Bagby Hot Springs. And, every year of my being there, I also had a month off which I also spent there as well. Basically 80 miles east of Portland. 20 miles from the nearest backwoods civilization that was primarily a backwoods bar where the locals could get a beer. And then, once at the trail head, another 4 miles or so up the mountain to what I considered ‘my camp’. When walking the trail, it was weird sometimes. Boulders the size of basketballs would crash down the mountain from high above me and fly past the path in front of me. Sometimes 50 feet in front of me. Sometimes 20 feet. A couple of times just a foot or two like it was aimed directly at me. Never happened to the rear of me. Always in front of me. Always thought was kind of weird. Never connected the dots though until after reading other people’s stories. Hell, I was always alone and never thought much about it. I’d get to my camp, pitch the tent, make a fire, etc... But during the night, I have got to say...some pretty weird noises would come from those woods, and some pretty rank smells too. Like a musky skunk. Skunks? I didn’t know there were many skunks out there. What did I know? Never did see a skunk. Sometimes it just seemed like I was surrounded by them. Sometimes never smelled anything. Sometimes no rocks came down the mountain either. Sometimes no weird sounds came from the woods. But, what I can say is, sometimes the woods became unusually quiet. Complete silence. One night though was different from the rest. This was one of those nights of complete silence. No unusual smells. I don’t know which way the wind was blowing, or if at all. Most times, the campfire smoke would go straight up. But this night, no matter where I sat, the smoke would always, and I mean always, blow in my direction. I must’ve got up and moved 20 times when I said to myself, F this. Put the fire out and I went to bed. Funny thing is, there wasn’t any wind. Dead calm. Dead silence. I lay there just listening to the silence when I heard something off in the distance headed my way. Took about a half hour before I realized it was circling me and then coming towards my camp. Heard tree knocks every few minutes and was wondering what the hell that noise was. First on one side of me, then the other. Each time a little closer. It wasn’t one animal, but two or three...or more. I was a bit freaked out. Whatever it was, was coming closer. There wasn’t much light. Oregon is notorious for its cloud cover, but the moon was actually somewhat out this night so I could see just a bit. And then, I heard something heavy being dragged outside my tent. From the wood pile maybe? No, this was really heavy. It was one of the logs I’d set up to sit on by the fire. About ten feet away from where I heard it begin sliding... thud. It was thrown to the ground. If it were a bear, why is it carrying logs around? Silence. About a minute passes. I am scared shitless. I’ve heard about bears eating campers in their tents. Dragging them off like a prepackaged meal. Then a solid shadow appears above my head and it has long arms. It’s standing over my tent. I can hear it breathing. Long heavy sighs. Mind you this is a tunnel tent, built to withstand 80 mile an hour winds. Very rigid, yet flexible. The roof is about two feet from my face when a hand with a clenched fist starts pressing down from the top into the tent with me looking straight at it. The tent is about three feet wide. Whatever it is, is leaning over the tent and it doesn’t have claws. The fist slowly presses into the tent until it’s two inches from my face. It feels like it’s testing me. It stays there for a couple seconds and then it pulls back. So, in this terror, fight or flight mode kicks in. I have got to do something. I rear back my right arm and decide to back hand it....to punch it as hard as possible. It came in again, but this time, I whacked it as hard as I could. It was hard and also soft. It was like hitting someone’s very large hand. And when I did, boy it let out a F’n scream. This was not an animal. It screamed like it had a very large man’s voice, only deeper. Oh shit, I am dead, I thought. I could hear the shock in its voice as it stumbled backward with heavy feet. It stomped around and I could feel the ground shake under the weight of it. I actually sensed it was thinking. There was a pause. And then it started destroying my camp like it was frustrated as hell. It grunted and roared as it threw the logs away, not at me. In fact it threw everything I had outside the tent...away from the tent...and, away from me. It then gave out a defeated kind of growling yell and ran off into the woods breaking down everything in its path. And, it kept going at such a pace that I swear I could still hear it half a mile away. It was pissed, like it didn’t know what to do with me as it ran off. Like it had emotion. It was intelligent. It kept yelling back at me as if to say, you stupid little person. You are lucky I didn’t kill you. Well, I’m glad it didn’t either. I never got out of the tent that night, but in the morning, I found it had trashed the place. The eight foot logs I used as seats were thrown about 20 feet and had hit other trees ten feet off the ground. My wood pile, cooking gear, etc. was scattered all over. I feel it could have gone other ways that night. I think I got lucky. But, I never saw it face to face. That’s ok. I don’t need to. There’s something out there, though. Just what it is...?

Bryan Wilson thank you very much for sharing your story! Sounds pretty terrifyingly! I don’t know if you have listened to Swamp Dwellers series on Cryptid Hunter and the stories by Sam White Owl? You should! He tells of his own experiences and knowledge of Cryptids and what your describing is definitely Sasquatch encounters. The smell is that of a ‘Skunk Sasquatch’ and the bagging of sticks against trees are how Sasquatchs communicate. I live in Scotland and done some while camping but nothing as remote is what it would be like in Oregon! Again, thanks for sharing your story with me!

I have been to Glacier National Park. I parked at the apex of the northern loop, just before you start going uphill, and hiked north toward Canada. There were woodsy areas and some open areas, quite rugged, and I couldn’t go more than one mile an hour. Eventually I came to an open area, some tall grass, boulders, downed trees, and in the distance I spied what appeared to be a brown bear, standing on his hind legs, was maybe 7 or 8 feet tall. That’s when I turned around and headed back, but I got turned around and actually got lost. I eventually got back to my car and when I looked at the clock in the car it was almost 2 A.M. I could not possibly have been out there for 16 hours. I estimated five or six hours tops. Where did 10 hours go? I was hiking the Appalachian Trail in Connecticut. It was about 6:30 A.M. and I was in a park directly adjacent to the Housicanic River. There were several signs in the park warning dog owners all dogs must be on 6 foot leases. I spied three people possibly 200 yards ahead of me. Suddenly a very large dog, possibly 60 or 70 pounds, came running toward me from the area of these people. Usually these dogs run up to you, want you to pet them, wag their tails, and are otherwise friendly. This dog just kept coming at top speed, and before I knew it, the dog jumped, and put his front paws on me at full speed. Of course I careened backward, bumped my head on the pavement, landed on my backpack, the dog just over my head. The people shouted, “oh sorry, he never does that.” Assholes. They acted as though the attack was my fault.

When you enter the treeline, you're in someone else's world. We're the king of the concrete jungle, but in the forests we're at the very bottom of the totem pole, like the dodo bird basically. The forest isn't a zoo or a park to play in, we're just humans invading animal territory. There's so many dangers and even mysterious creatures and phenomena still left to discover or unfortunately run into out there. After a couple long days of rain around winter or after an ice storm or hurricane etc, time when animals have no choice but to come out and get some warm sun, food, stretch their legs, go out to a nice secluded area near a water source, sit out there by yourself, maybe do some fishing, just appear vulnerable..and see what happens once it gets dark. It also helps if there's a full moon and the weather is so bad that no one would be out in the forest other than your crazy self. Anyway, to those who haven't had any odd experiences, pay more attention and good luck with having one.

I once experienced this strange kind of absolute silence on a trip through Northern Spain. My friend and I were driving along a lonely country road by evening dawn. Because the road was at an altitude along, we had a wide view over the land. Wooded hills as far as we could see, looking black against the sky hiding the setting sun behind them. Mo trace of light in the landscape for quite a long time, though the next village or small town could not be far away. Also we seemed to be the only car in the area since the last view point about half an hour ago. It felt a bit creepy already. After a while we made a stop because I had to go out. When I stepped slowly out of the car and my shoe touched the ground it seemed if I could hear every grain of sand my sole moved and the blood running through my veins. But absolutely nothing else. No birds nor other animals, not the smallest gust of wind. Maybe ist's like this to be on the moon. I hided behind a bush at the roadside and after I was ready I sat there for a while relaxing and concentrating on the strange athmosphere. At that time I hadn''t yet heard about paranormal phenomenons in nature, Missing 411 and such things and the possible meaning of this kind of deadly silence, else I would have hasted back to the car as quickly as possible. But at that time for me it was only a curios experience, I had no idea how it could do any harm to me and wasn't afraid. So I remained there for one or two minutes letting the silience flow through me. I felt a boost of energy which filled every cell of mine. It seemed to give me everything I needed and more. No need, no desire to move or do anything nor to eat or to drink. Just being and fulfillment. And Power. It was impossible to fear anything in this state. I just sat tbere and enjoyed this strange trip without any drug. Only when I heard my friend calling for me I finally got up and went back to our car. He had only noticed the unusual silence without making this experience of energy like me, suppose because he hadn't left the car. I told him of it and my euphoric feelings still lasted for a while until we finally crossed the bridge from Catalonia to Aragon into the small City of Montañana and were back in civilization again.

On Vancouver Island the locals give a fair warning - IF you see a Cougar it's only because it has allowed you to see it. There is a follow up warning to that: ..and that's because it's sure that's the last thing you will see and you'll never tell anyone. It's not wrong either - experienced hunters, hikers and rangers who've lived their entire lives there seeing every kind of animal 100 times may NEVER see a cougar. The few people who have did indeed die (well, we may not know if they even saw the cat that killed them) or if they saw one it was, as told, just before it attacked and they somehow survived, escaped or were fast on a trigger!

I was freaked out because it was the middle of the night, and I had no idea who she was. I stared at her, and I could tell she wasn't a person, I could see through part of her. I kept staring, I froze, thinking I must be crazy. She looked at me and said, " I know you can see me". I started yelling, screeching for a nurse. I was panicking. A nurse came in and was totally pissed off, she gave me this massive shot and I passed out for five hours. I tried to tell everyone the next day and they just laughed, saying I was just feeling odd from having surgery....whatever...i will never forget that lady. I can close my eyes and see her face, i wish i had had the courage to ask what she wanted to ask me, or tell me. I always feel so bad about it....

@@christineparis5607 wow! My hairs stood on end. Dang. I believe you.. I too had a ghost encounter at a hospital. Something tapped me on the back and I turned around because I knew no one was there, but also, it was kind of aggressive TBH. I put my head down but was so f*ckining scared. I closed my eyes, turned off the computer and fucking left. I called my boss and she laughed at me. I was in the radiology control room. Its where we would verify our images and scan paperwork.. Films are out now so everything is a digital scanning system. Kinda like a dark room but it isnt real dark. Kinda like a shift change huddle room. It was closed temporarily but merged to another system. I had to track down their used xray equipment. I was the only tech there. One way in. and one way out. Girl, I had to go back the next day. I was not digging it, but I had to call a xray service tech for PM on the xray machines. I told the service rep the next day and he laughed at me. He was doing his thang in the room by himself for about 2 hours then he called me to the old Flouroscopy xray room that was clearly outdated and had some miles on it. He asked what food was good around our city and his damn tool box popped open right in front of us. I was like Robert, did you see that? He said Yeah man, I saw that. He was a non believer before this little scare. It got his attention.Hes a big scary ex marine, and he almost shit his pants ( HE TOLD ME A YEAR LATER )Its 3 feet from us by the door to exit. I said bro, was your toolbox shut? As he was saying that he always has it shut and snapped. It set in to both of us something just happened and were the only people on the whole 1st floor. I hated going there. Tv would turn on and doors would open randomly. I only went like 6 times over there but that Tap happened the first day. Whatever is haunting there probably came from the old trauma center that was attatched to radiology. The old ER trauma room was transformed to radiology when they merged. The xray unit is where the old ER was .That shit straight up snapped and popped open. It was like a double pop. First the snap or a snap and when the other happened, it just flung open. He was already leaning down shutting it and next thing you know we are out in the lighted hallway and we couldnt talk. He went one way and I went the other. I guess we were in shock. We finally calmed down and I asked him if he believed me now Sorry to ramble. I'm chillen here listening to the best thing on the internet. Period. Swamp is incredible. Love this guy. I can't listen to any other. Its not the same. We are spoiled. Back in 93 a ghost kid set next to me on the waterbed. I was laying down and the dog growled. I hear the stories about this particular room but didnt believe it. I got nervous AF because the dog was a 6lb chihuaha and he was staring at my leg. Then the damn dog jumped off the bed and my whole right side dipped in to the bed by my hips and lower back. I couldnt move. I laid there in shock I guess. I dont know how long passed by but it was only a few seconds but it felt like an eternity As I finally was able to move, I went to jump up and I shouldnt have done this but I looked at the bed somehow as I was getting up to run to the door, and there was a fucking indention in the bed like where someones ass would be. I ran to the front of the house and told my friends dad because he was watching tv with my best friend and I told him what happened. He said boy, I know theres a ghost here, I've warned you before silly. Lets go see what he did.. I was like what? Dud I was crying. I was 15 and I didnt care about being that tough. Scared the ever living shit out of me. I decided to follow him since I wasnt alone, and when he opened the door, all the pillows and sheets where thrown on the ground. The bed was made when I was laying there. I had been on the old rotory phone earlier and was thinking about a girl I liked. Take care and I wanted to share this because it seemed everyone really enjoys the stories. Sometimes the ones from fans could easily be on his chanel, but Im always game to listen if someone has a cool story. Im open to it. Ghost are real. Lol.

I was 7, my grandfather had a very demonic attachment. This scared him so bad that he went to church and got baptised. This made the entity very angry. The very next night I awoke at exactly 3am,it was storming very bad and the lightning was lighting up the room. At the foot of my bed was a 7' cloaked figure. He spoke to me through telepathy I think, said that it was nither male or female, and it was ancient and rare for its kind. It told me I was weak and the next few years of my life would be the greatest challenge of a hundred lifetimes. I preceded to haunt me for10 years the day, it could be 3 small entities that would reek havoc on my house at night, imagine 3 15lb creatures with sharp nails running around in your kitchen and bedroom all night, I could hear them climb up walls and ceiling. No one else could hear it or it made sure they slept hard as hell. Some nights I'd wake up outdoors hundreds of yards away from the house, freaking out and not knowing how I got outside. The doors and windows were still locked up really high for my grandparents we aware of me doing this some, I still don't know how I got out . This went on for 10 years, in now 37,im into the paranormal very much and study it still daily. I want to help others in this predicament. If anyone needs to find answers I'm here. @Spike Solas Not to sound like a lot of preachers, but spirits, whether they seem good or bad are demons that can appear as every sort of thing to make you think there's no God, to think things like aphrodite are real, just all sorts of trickery. Even some witches know that Jesus's name frightens demons. Also stay away from witchcraft, I used to try it a little (I was a weird kid okay?) but stopped as I found out in time that you're really only communicating with things you want to stay a continent away from. You can search online about what the Bible has to say about spirits, it's pretty cool. Hope this helps!

I just saw a comment above yours saying the same thing. It appears to be not so much of an uncommon occurrence.

First story sounds like Foxfire. My dad encountered it and said it looked like lights in the woods. It would last a while then go out only to reappear further. He dug it up. It’s a fungus that is rarely witnesses or understood.

YOUNG CACTUS, will go down as the most retold scary and true story ever to be told on KZbin. Some might think this is all B.S. but I witnessed this exact event in Joshua Tree National Park while hiking a 16 mile trail. Do yourself a favor and listen to this story collection. :) Thanks Swamp Dweller!

Panther's, will stalk an individual also. They are hard to see at night. Bring a big caliber gun, anytime camping or hiking. It could just save your life or your families life. Stay safe out there, folks!

One quiet night, I woke up and there was this circular ring with hundreds of tiny colorful lights suspended over me. It started moving towards my face and I tried to grab it and disappeared in thin air. I couldn’t scream or moved. It happened twice about 12 years ago. I was not dreaming neither I drink or use drugs.

I grew up in the sonora desert west of Tucson, AZ. We had property and some live stock. It was not uncommon to experience odd things. I occassionally would be native american music and I had followed to a spot that seemed like I was in the middle of this sound. I never found where that music came from.

tbh me and my buddy and his cousin went hiking and we camped right at an area where a mountain lion pride had been spoted and that was a big deal because cougars havent been reported in va for a while and we got drove away from our camping spot because of a terrible shitty storm not the lions

My daughter and I spend a lot of time in the Cherokee National forest at night tracking coyote. Twice, in the winter, we have encountered on two different occasions, but, in the same area small lights coming up from the ground. They reminded me of fireflies but these were white and didn't blink. They would come up from tall grasses and rise up a bit then disappear. Strangest thing to watch. I figure maybe some type of electro energy from earth??? Anyone else seen anything like that??? We have had several weird experiences in the forest late at night and before anyone asks yes we carry firearms. Never had to use them though. Once at 2am we saw a very tall creature on 2 legs ,fur grey in color staring at us. It just went off into the forest leaving us to wonder what the hell we just saw.

First story was extremely eerie. I honestly believe it was extraterrestrial aircraft
@NotSoCrazyNinja
@NotSoCrazyNinja 4 жыл бұрын
The first one was totally extraterrestrials. The best way to "encounter" them is to put yourself somewhere well away from other people and be sure to be alone. That is when your chances are a lot higher. For most people and most encounters, you will remember nothing. You may or may not notice missing time. They typically return you to where they got you unless the area is unsafe and they have to put you elsewhere. I must be a bit different than average because I remember a lot more than I probably should, but not everything. Almost every encounter I have ever had was in remote areas when I was all alone or in the middle of the night when everyone was asleep except me since I am a bit of a night owl. My first known encounter was around the age of 6-7. My last encounter that I'm aware of was about a year ago. It seems that over the years, "they" have gotten better and better at making me forget. Encounters are not all that common for me now. The bulk was between the ages of about nine and seventeen when I was very active outdoors and spent a lot of time outside by myself at night. I have a sort of love/hate relationship with them. Based on my experiences, the ones I have encountered have always returned me unharmed or minimally harmed (never any pain). They did a decent job at making me forget the scariest bits. However, I want to know why. Why me? Why don't they let me know the purpose of their visits? Why can't they give me a heads up? Encounters are always by surprise to me and I never know the point of the encounters. My best guess is similar to what humans do with some wild animals. They will capture (abduct) a wild animal, drug it, take a lot of measurements, maybe tag it, maybe implant a tracker, then release it back into the wild. Maybe I was chosen at random. Maybe there is something different about me that I'm not fully aware of. Whatever the case, I want to know. If they can knock me out, they can keep me calm so we can have a "talk" (even though they don't seem capable of physical speech). They ruined camping for me. They ruined long hikes in the woods for me. I fear going outside at night. The logical side of me says that they obviously mean no harm because despite hundreds of encounters, I have always been returned safe, but, the primal side of me freaks the hell out at the thought. Maybe that's why they make abductees forget, it's easier on the abductee. Well, for me, the damage has been done and I want to know the details.
