kzbin.info/www/bejne/oHu2omiemNBseNE Check out this China McClain video. This helped me understand a lot more :) hope this helps! I used to be atheist, but one of the biggest reasons I came back to accepting the ontological, external reality of the obviousness of there being a God is the fact of not only the precision of the universe, but the fact that the birth of Jesus Christ was literally predicted 400 years in advance to an absolute precision. Check out the history behind the Dead Sea scrolls, the book of Isaiah, Zechariah, Daniel, or any Old Testament scroll that absolutely 100% predicted the arrival of Jesus. How could they have known what Jesus would have been like 400+ years in advance? That is nothing but God. The link to the China McClain video above is more of a scientific, deductive approach to describing God. Hope this helps :) Sent with love, Jack

1) It's not proof. You cannot "prove" the past. It's evidence. Science proofs just mean data with strong evidence. 2) Complexity doesn't prove God, but it is evidence for God, because the universe is so complex, the chances are so low of it just existing randomly. As a house is evidence of a architect, the universe is evidence of God. My point is, stop using the word "proof", as historical science is based off of giving enough evidence for reasonable belief. Since you weren't at the Creation, you can't prove it, nor can you prove evolution, but you can interpret evidence.
@preethao.c22622 жыл бұрын
@@tensuraforever9134 They use the word "proof", maybe I didn't think of using the right word, I don't remember. Here, "prove" just means to provide enough evidence. "Complexity doesn't prove God, but it is evidence for God" No, as I said, being complex doesn't mean it was created. We don't believe a house was created because its complex, we believe that because that only we know of a house being formed, meaning there is no natural process that we know of that can make a house. We have way more than enough evidence to say evolution did happen. So, every organism we know that are extremely complex doesn't need a creator, infact, they definitely weren't created. "the universe is so complex, the chances are so low of it just existing randomly" Show me the calculations. So, again, complexity doesn't mean a creator.

This is a fantastic video. My father is a PhD nuclear physicist that does not believe in god or a supreme being. My mother is also extremely educated and intelligent and does not believe in God. I was raised in an environment that was not conducive to believing in God. However, I firmly believe in God. Studying and learning about DNA was the beginning of my belief in a God or a Supreme being. Additionally studying and learning about cells blew me away and furthered my belief in God. At this point in my life I do not question the existence of an intelligent designer. The evidence is inside us and all around us. I do not have a name for God or a religious affiliation. I am just certain that an intelligent designer created all things. Thanks for this great video! #2 DNA along with cells is the strongest point to me. If there is anyone reading this that is uncertain or questioning the existence of God please kindly keep an open mind and research and study DNA. It’s a complex code that is so complex it can do things like direct biological material to grow into a human babies arms and fingers etc. This is not by chance. Lightning did not strike a primordial pool of ooze and create DNA, a complex code to build you and all your parts. God created you and it would make sense that God loves all of his creations. God Loves You.

Do you care if those things actually indicate a god? _1. Why would patterns indicate a god at all?_ We can imagine many non-god scenarios where patterns would emerge. This includes the explanation we actually know to be true of our own universe: the patterns emerged as a result of natural forces. Why would complexity in a cell indicate a god at all?_ You're making an _implied claim_ that a god was somehow responsible for that, and yet you don't have any evidence justifying that claim is true. _3. What intelligent design?_ We have overwhelming evidence evolution caused the design in life, and the universe is staggeringly _not_ designed for us. (We've designed universes like Super Mario where he can live and travel to 50% of his universe. Meanwhile we can live and travel to _less than 0.0000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000003%_ of our universe. It's ridiculous to call that design.) _4. Repeat of point 1._ _5. Why would an argument that concludes with "a cause" indicate a god at all?_ Also the moment you imply that uncaused things are possible, you eliminate the only reason that argument (the Cosmological Argument) has for saying a god must exist. _6. Why would interdependence indicate a god at all?_ It's the logical result of evolution: if resources exist, there's an opportunity for an organism to evolve to use them (creating interdependence) and if a resource doesn't exist there isn't (so any organisms that had those mutations would die if they had no other food source). Well if the organisms being interdependent are living and the ones that aren't die out without spreading their genes, what genes are left? That's right: _only the interdependent ones._ _7. Basically a repeat of point 3, but seriously why would constants being set that way indicate a god at all?_ You need evidence that actually points to a specific conclusion, and fine tuning doesn't logically indicate a god existing. _8. Again a repeat of 3 and 7._ _9. Why would non-physical aspects of human minds indicate a god at all?_ We can easily imagine answers to this that don't invoke god, but what we need is evidence pointing to a specific conclusion. You can't just take unknowns and not only (A) claim you know it (science doesn't agree that the mind isn't just physical) but (B) claim it indirectly serves as evidence of a god when there's no logical connection to a god at all. _10. This isn't evidence, it's an assertion. A claim._ Claiming something is true without evidence isn't _itself_ evidence.

1. Science - by definition - is the disciplined investigation of the material plane, physics, chemistry, biology and so on. Metaphysical questions about gods, souls, reincarnation, afterlife etcetera are by definition not material questions and by definition outside the province of Science. 2. Even if it were possible to prove the existence of a god, it would only prove the existence of god. When it comes down to it, the fact that we are still debating this same argument shows that God's existence is still more likely than not. We may not be able to prove, but we can't disprove either. Science has done nothing but increase my belief in one God.
@d4rk4x3l32 жыл бұрын
I'd like to point out something. If you can't prove that Santa Claus doesn't exist... then he exists? People believed in many gods because they couldn't explain things and wanted an answer. Now, most of that stuff is answered, some not. So people say "hey, but you can't explain THIS!!! Then there must be a God!". It's called God of the Gaps. Because, gaps in the knowledge make someone believe in God. The more we discover, the harder it gets to believe in God, believe me. Tell me ONE reason. ONE. One reason you believe in it. I'll disprove.
@markwright7602 жыл бұрын
@@d4rk4x3l3 why take the risk of not believing? It's only your soul potentially at stake. That's a great reason. And if you are wrong, oh well. @d4rk4x3l32 жыл бұрын
@@markwright760 Well, let's unpack what you just said. You still didn't give me one reason why you believe in God I think. I mean, you're trying to give ME reasons, but you personally? Please, before continuing to read, STOP. Search in yourself, and answer this question. "Why do I believe in God?". Tell me THAT (or THOSE) reasons. Done? Now, I'll address what you said, because that's a lot to unpack. 1) Why taking risks not believeing? This is known as Pascal's Wager. If you take your time searching around (even on youtube) there's a lot of good reasons to "take the risk", as you say. But I'll try to answer in my own way. I am not taking a risk. Let's talk about all those religious Gods, ok? There's contraddictions and proof of them not possibly existing. Like, in the bible? There's so many contraddictions that it looks like it was written by fifty different people who had no idea what each other was writing. Which, incidentally, is indeed the case. Not the kind of thing an allknowing God would write, I assure you. Take a little time and read it. Or the Quran or any of those other "Religious Books". Second, soul. Soul is such a ridiculous concept. If there was a soul, there would be no such thing as brain damage. Because you'd do your thinking in your "soul", that's what you are, the soul. But we have evidence that we think in the brain. Overwhelming evidence even. Third. If I had to force myself to believe to avoid eternal damnation (infinite torture. For not believing. Quite... benevolent, I guess) wouldn't God know I was only faking it? Either you believe or you don't, it's not a choice. Like... how do you explain the imperfections of most living beings? How do you explain a nerve going from the brain all the way to the heart and than back to your throat, or your cecum, or wisdom teeth, or the totally vestigial armpit hairs? It's not like we need those things, some are even potentially nocive. I mean, how do you explain kids with bone cancer, or some of the nastiest stuff nature can throw at us? It doesn't look like the work of someone who loves us, or is even benevolent. So much suffering. But hey, let's say there's a God, and it's not a religious one. Like, something created the universe and all that. We need to discover it, through reasoning and logic and science. Not random leaps of "faith". Anyway, believing because otherwise you'll get punished isn't a good reason. If you believe and there's no God, for instance, you lose some of your very valuable and limited time praying, and you close your mind (Which, make no mistake, is the entirety of YOU) to the truth. 2)It makes a lot of sense if you really try to understand it. No it doesn't. I've come from a christian family. Baptized, all of those other stuff. Then started asking questions, and the answers didn't make sense. The more I tried to understand it, the LESS it made sense. I then turned to science, and it was still disappointing. Then I turned to Logic, and Rationality, and it clicked, let me tell you. It clicked. The truth is not as beautiful as the story from religions, but it's the truth at least. You can try and search for the truth too, as soon as you decide that's what matters, and not being told a beautiful lie. 3) Just be careful not to totally create a false doctrine to believe Learn rationality and logic. Like, REALLY learn it. There's a lot of work to do, but you end up coming with your own answers, it's not other people feeding you their "truths" to you, you search for it. 4) I doubt any accident could be this great I... didn't get what you meant here. What accident?

This source could be God/Jesus in the Bible it could be the sound Ohm in Hinduism it could be Allah it could be the Tao it could be uNkulunkulu (Zulu religion) All we know is there that there is one geometric code that signified the start of everything, and that code, regardless of culture and interpretation is a variation of the Seed of Life. Actually you are right. Would you believe in God if someone somehow proved via observations that could be repeated over and over again that an object in our galaxy and also in every other galaxy was found to create energy, matter, space and even time? Then would you consider a God creator to be real? Because according to the laws of thermodynamics energy and matter cannot be created. So if you found objects throughout the universe creating energy, matter, space and even time would you consider them to be the creators of energy, matter, space and time throughout the universe, IE God Creators? One object was recently found, well within the last 40 years and astrophysicists are still scrambling to try and explain the observations without breaking the laws of thermodynamics, the laws of motion and physics or the general theory of relativity. Because every observation of this object completely contradicts the laws of nature and physics. Would you be amazed if I told you that the ancient Mayan Indians who lived some 3,600 years ago in South America called this object Hunab Ku, meaning one God consciousness? They claimed all things came from this object and referred to it as the tree of life and knowledge resting in the center of our galaxy. It doesn't appear now that primitive man simply made up a God creator to explain away what they couldn't explain. They discovered our God creator thousands of years before modern day astrophysicists did. The astrophysicists with many college degrees still don't understand this object they are observing because it defies all their laws of physics, motion and thermodynamics along with Einstein's famous equations describing gravity, general relativity! This object like the ones inside every other galaxy completely contradict their ideals. Do you think scientists will break their silence about this object they discovered, well, it's been almost 40 years? They still have not told the truth about what they found. Can you guess what object in our galaxy produces energy, matter, space, time, consciousness and exists forever? Or will you deny this evidence too? It appears that the ancient people based their knowledge of God on real science. They came to the conclusion that there is a God creating energy, matter and consciousness in our galaxy. The scientists today continue to deny the facts by interpreting the data to suit their ideals even when the data contradicts them. We are made of matter and we are conscious. Put 2 and 2 together. We were created by a God creator. The Bible was even right about the Garden of Eden even though it was an allegory to describe the Tree of Life and Knowledge and how all of mankind become self aware.

A piece from a new book titled: Saved by the Light of the Buddha Within... Myoho-Renge-Kyo represents the identity of what some scientists are now referring to as the unified field of consciousnesses. In other words, it’s the essence of all existence and non-existence - the ultimate creative force behind planets, stars, nebulae, people, animals, trees, fish, birds, and all phenomena, manifest or latent. All matter and intelligence are simply waves or ripples manifesting to and from this core source. Consciousness (enlightenment) is itself the actual creator of everything that exists now, ever existed in the past, or will exist in the future - right down to the minutest particles of dust - each being an individual ripple or wave. The big difference between chanting Nam-Myoho-Renge-Kyo and most other conventional prayers is that instead of depending on a ‘middleman’ to connect us to our state of inner enlightenment, we’re able to do it ourselves. That’s because chanting Nam-Myoho-Renge-Kyo allows us to tap directly into our enlightened state by way of this self-produced sound vibration. ‘Who or What Is God?’ If we compare the concept of God being a separate entity that is forever watching down on us, to the teachings of Nichiren, it makes more sense to me that the true omnipotence, omniscience and omnipresence of what most people perceive to be God, is the fantastic state of enlightenment that exists within each of us. Some say that God is an entity that’s beyond physical matter - I think that the vast amount of information continuously being conveyed via electromagnetic waves in today’s world gives us proof of how an invisible state of God could indeed exist. For example, it’s now widely known that specific data relayed by way of electromagnetic waves has the potential to help bring about extraordinary and powerful effects - including an instant global awareness of something or a mass emotional reaction. It’s also common knowledge that these invisible waves can easily be used to detonate a bomb or to enable NASA to control the movements of a robot as far away as the Moon or Mars - none of which is possible without a receiver to decode the information that’s being transmitted. Without the receiver, the data would remain impotent. In a very similar way, we need to have our own ‘receiver’ switched on so that we can activate a clear and precise understanding of our own life, all other life and what everything else in existence is. Chanting Nam-Myoho-Renge-Kyo each day helps us to achieve this because it allows us to reach the core of our enlightenment and keep it switched on. That’s because Myoho-Renge-Kyo represents the identity of what scientists now refer to as the unified field of consciousnesses. To break it down - Myoho represents the Law of manifestation and latency (Nature) and consists of two alternating states. For example, the state of Myo is where everything in life that’s not obvious to us exists - including our stored memories when we’re not thinking about them - our hidden potential and inner emotions whenever they’re dormant - our desires, our fears, our wisdom, happiness, karma - and more importantly, our enlightenment. The other state, ho, is where everything in Life exists whenever it becomes evident to us, such as when a thought pops up from within our memory - whenever we experience or express our emotions - or whenever a good or bad cause manifests as an effect from our karma. When anything becomes apparent, it merely means that it’s come out of the state of Myo (dormancy/latency) and into a state of ho (manifestation). It’s the difference between consciousness and unconsciousness, being awake or asleep, or knowing and not knowing. The second law - Renge - Ren meaning cause and ge meaning effect, governs and controls the functions of Myoho - these two laws of Myoho and Renge, not only function together simultaneously but also underlie all spiritual and physical existence. The final and third part of the tri-combination - Kyo, is the Law that allows Myoho to integrate with Renge - or vice versa. It’s the great, invisible thread of energy that fuses and connects all Life and matter - as well as the past, present and future. It’s also sometimes termed the Universal Law of Communication - perhaps it could even be compared with the string theory that many scientists now suspect exists. Just as the cells in our body, our thoughts, feelings and everything else is continually fluctuating within us - all that exists in the world around us and beyond is also in a constant state of flux - constantly controlled by these three fundamental laws. In fact, more things are going back and forth between the two states of Myo and ho in a single moment than it would ever be possible to calculate or describe. And it doesn’t matter how big or small, famous or trivial anything or anyone may appear to be, everything that’s ever existed in the past, exists now or will exist in the future, exists only because of the workings of the Laws ‘Myoho-Renge-Kyo’ - the basis of the four fundamental forces, and if they didn’t function, neither we nor anything else could go on existing. That’s because all forms of existence, including the seasons, day, night, birth, death and so on, are moving forward in an ongoing flow of continuation - rhythmically reverting back and forth between the two fundamental states of Myo and ho in absolute accordance with Renge - and by way of Kyo. Even stars are dying and being reborn under the workings of what the combination ‘Myoho-Renge-Kyo’ represents. Nam, or Namu - which mean the same thing, are vibrational passwords or keys that allow us to reach deep into our life and fuse with or become one with ‘Myoho-Renge-Kyo’. On a more personal level, nothing ever happens by chance or coincidence, it’s the causes that we’ve made in our past, or are presently making, that determine how these laws function uniquely in each of our lives - as well as the environment from moment to moment. By facing east, in harmony with the direction that the Earth is spinning, and chanting Nam-Myoho-Renge-Kyo for a minimum of, let’s say, ten minutes daily to start with, any of us can experience actual proof of its positive effects in our lives - even if it only makes us feel good on the inside, there will be a definite positive effect. That’s because we’re able to pierce through the thickest layers of our karma and activate our inherent Buddha Nature (our enlightened state). By so doing, we’re then able to bring forth the wisdom and good fortune that we need to challenge, overcome and change our adverse circumstances - turn them into positive ones - or manifest and gain even greater fulfilment in our daily lives from our accumulated good karma. This also allows us to bring forth the wisdom that can free us from the ignorance and stupidity that’s preventing us from accepting and being proud of the person that we indeed are - regardless of our race, colour, gender or sexuality. We’re also able to see and understand our circumstances and the environment far more clearly, as well as attract and connect with any needed external beneficial forces and situations. As I’ve already mentioned, everything is subject to the law of Cause and Effect - the ‘actual-proof-strength’ resulting from chanting Nam-Myoho-Renge-Kyo always depends on our determination, sincerity and dedication. For example, the levels of difference could be compared to making a sound on a piano, creating a melody, producing a great song, and so on. Something else that’s very important to always respect and acknowledge is that the Law (or if you prefer God) is in everyone and everything. NB: There are frightening and disturbing sounds, and there are tranquil and relaxing sounds. It’s the emotional result of any noise or sound that can trigger off a mood or even instantly change one. When chanting Nam-Myoho-Renge-Kyo each day, we are producing a sound vibration that’s the password to our true inner-self - this soon becomes apparent when you start reassessing your views on various things - such as your fears and desires etc. The best way to get the desired result when chanting is not to view things conventionally - rather than reaching out to an external source, we need to reach into our own lives and bring our needs and desires to fruition from within - including the good fortune and strength to achieve any help that we may need. Chanting Nam-Myoho-Renge-Kyo also reaches out externally and draws us towards, or draws towards us, what we need to make us happy from our environment. For example, it helps us to be in the right place at the right time - to make better choices and decisions and so forth. We need to think of it as a seed within us that we’re watering and bringing sunshine to for it to grow, blossom and bring forth fruit or flowers. It’s also important to understand that everything we need in life, including the answer to every question and the potential to achieve every dream, already exists within us. To understand the meaning of Nam-Myoho-Renge-Kyo even more, I sincerely recommend that you read Tina Turner's new book: Happiness Becomes You. kzbin.info/www/bejne/hIOYdZenn7KrnaM Let go, and let God - Olivia Newton-John Nam Myoho Renge Kyo Let go, and let God - Olivia Newton-John Nam Myoho Renge Kyo www.youtube.com

Yes l believe that there is a divine creator and also that we are here to learn how to be creators our self by knowing who we really are. But it takes lifetimes over lifetimes we are like the monarca butterflys that use many generatins to get to the final destination

Could this divine creator force be merely the fundamental laws of reality? Or does it have to have sentience, ambition, and desire in order to be classified as divine?

HE can't be called creator. Most appropriate word for HIM is creativity. Because nothing is separated from HIM.
@johnbalasundaram24843 жыл бұрын
All the creation is existing in universe. But we cannot contain God inside universe. He created all from outside and physical laws cannot control Him. How many dimensions does God have? We have 3 and we travel in 4th dimension in constant velocity. Can we limit God within dimensions?So creativity is an attribute of God and he is creator.
