It might have also been because it's meant to be kind of a mysterious kingdom, since it's implied in the game that it once hosted a prominent civilization that disappeared for unknown reasons (probably the Lord of Lightning/Ruined Dragon). But it still could have been made a bit larger, with more ruins to explore and few if any enemies (I don't think they should be medieval-themed either, maybe Thwomps, the mummy things and other ruin/ghostly-themed enemies would have worked)

Hey, when you go into the coin filter mode, fog, water, clouds, etc. all disappear! When looking through the kingdoms through the coin filter, first, it looks really cool, but it also shows that there are some things under the death barrier and far, far off in the distance. I really recommend you to try it in the Cap Kingdom and Seaside Kingdom, it's really cool!

Ze_eTPlays you dont die instantly. Use assist mode so you can explore the area easier because there are more death planes but its still possible to explore.

In 1.3, it’s a bit complicated but possible. First you will do the Shiveria racer clip, then go to a snowy platform (which is higher up than the death plane) right below the little area, then if you jump out far enough, you can avoid the death plane entirely and then go over to the edge of the platform and jump off into the main course

You can still get out of bounds in the Seaside Kingdom and explore areas there by either using surface clipping or release capture clipping with a Cheep Cheep. Sadly you still can't go down far enough to truly reach the ocean floor, but yeah, you don't need the Gushen glitch to get there. And the Bound Bowl clipping glitch wasn't fixed, merely made a bit harder to execute. So those race tracks are still accessible as Mario as well. Still, the other points in the video I agree with. Would be really nice to see what's on these high walls around levels or background areas in various other kingdoms. Heck, even seeing what's down on street level outside New Donk City would be interesting!

You can get on top of the Jaxi Finish Line. Fearsome Fire made the jump in a mini-challenge video. Don't know if you can get on the outer wall, but the finish line structure is definitely possible.

Back when the gusheon collision deactivation glitch was possible I actually decided to go far down in the ocean and there is a "bottom" of sorts not very far below. Basically double deep as the deep area guarded by the scarecrow

I always found it fascinating when games have cut locations in the game and there is some evidence that there is going to be DLC or was suppose to be more to an area. One of the first games that I was fascinated by was Fable on the original xbox. There was mods and bunch of cut content restored to the game through game shark or what ever it was, and rumors that there was weapons and areas locked because Fable Lost Chapters was going to be coming up.

They already have. Creating cheat codes however is a long and tedious process, as it requires changing random RAM values until you discover what values control what. I've heard some people have already figured out how to replace models in Odyssey although I can't confirm that.

Especially in many sub areas, you can find many places that would be easily possible via a moon jump, which sadly (like you said) isn't at are disposal and is just seemingly flat out inaccessible right now.

I don't think Odyssey would have parallel universes. They only existed due to the numbering missmatch. I'm sure it won't actually happen, and that everything has the same coordinate system.

wariolandgoldpiramid actually, floats have stayed the same, so if you fall for long enough, there will be too huge of a gap and you will stay in freefall state, but you will reach the bottom of SMO with legitimate access.

wariolandgoldpiramid pus in sm64 is caused by an overflow error, and it isnt even present in sm64ds, so it very likely isnt in smo.

wariolandgoldpiramid yes they do use the same coordinate system. but floats are still present, because thats where your coordinate is, however, they decrement so slowly, that it isnt even noticable, until you go extremely far. pannenkoek has a great explanation of floats, and i reccommend you watch it.

The places that I am really curious to know if is accessible or not since I got the game is the local above the end pipe in the ice area of the flowing sands in the Sand Kingdom and the local above the beginning of the lava bubble challenge in the Luncheon Kingdom (the challenge beneath the Meat Plateau)

Maybe an earthquake caused Delfino Isle to Sink, or maybe it eroded away, or pollution and climate change caused sea level to rise. That;s why we don't see it in the Earth on Odyssey, but see it on the Globe. It was there by the time the globe was made, but isn't there anymore.

To Answer the Area 10: you can't, i tried doing it for a long time using the Peach Amiibo to stay down for longer, there is an invisible wall not too far down from the main stage, preventing access to the very bottom of the level
