Idk how secret it was, but a simple conversation with Scott Hall changed Stings career. He was the one that suggested that sting should change his character from surfer Sting to the Crow gimmick. Told him to watch the Crow, and the rest is history.

Scott Hall had a much better creative mind than he gets credit for, could have sat at the head of creative on any promotion going

Vince Sr. was a supporter of the territorial system but Vince Jr. was not the only promoter with dreams of going national. Crockett also was planning it and had a head start because of TBS. Vince was just smarter, more aggressive, and simply more ruthless and came out on top.

Bet at the time WrestleMania IX ended, Bret was wishing he'd taken a pay-cut (lucky he'd have 4-and-a-half great years there afterwards) ...

So much wrong here When Bret was talking to WCW in 1992 Vince knew about it and had him drop the IC title because neither side was sure on who he was going to sign with. Once that was cleared up, he then won the title back. Also he was NEVER promised the WWF title at all, he only got it because Flair was injured.

Putting aside the 'Taker/Mankind Cell match, my favorite HIAC match is the first Brock vs Taker Cell match, which was bloody, hard hitting and by and large in the cell.

The creative intervention. In the mid 90s, the kliq held a meeting with Vince. They told him wrestling plumbers and wrestling garbage men will never headline wrestlemania. The occupational gimmicks suck and the most over guys in the roster are those who are just themselves.

Colossal Tussle was the original name for the Royal Rumble, not Wrestlemania. Pat Patterson came up with Royal Rumble.

Every bit of information I’ve ever heard has said that it was indeed WrestleMania that was originally going to be called Colossal Tussle (I mean, remember, Vince actually hated the idea of the Royal Rumble which is why the first one was more a less a throwaway match and not PPV, so why would he care about the name of it?). However, WhatCulture are infamous for getting information/facts mixed up, so I did a Google search and still, everything points to it being WrestleMania and not Royal Rumble that’s name was originally going to be Colossal Tussle

Number 9 taker vs mankind no one can pull it off because it was a different era of wrestling at the time . in my opinion that’s why the hell in the cell matches of this era of wrestling sucks in wwe hell you can’t even bleed in todays era without the match being stopped or someone backstage giving you an ear full .back then you bleed you keep going
