Few additional thoughts: Tip 1. Layer is good, you can also do similar if you route them to the same midi channel and use a midi out instead of layer. Tip 2. You can add a prefix before you track split. For instance, if you rename the pattern - 'Beat 3', when you split it, the prefix 'Beat 3 - Channel Name' will be created. Tip 6. If you turn on smart disable and you use something like Kontakt, it will mess up and kontakt will start dropping samples. This is due to it will disable kontakt as it will have no piano roll data as you send it all out to multiple midi-out channels. So be watchful of that.

It works in ver. 20 but if you right click on the volume or the pan buttons in the channel rack and select edit Events then in that window (the arrow top left) go to Edit | Cut (or delete) you remove the automation for that button only. I like this method because the browser gets a little confusing sometimes for me.

Great tips that took me a long time to figure out myself! At 09:11, when you show the Keep focus function, I think I have found out why it happens to begin with. It's when the plugin is a different "bit" than the FL Studio version. As you can see, you're using 32bit Serum and I assume you're using 64bit FL Studio. Sadly it doesn't always work to press Keep focus, like with an older 32bit version of Nexus.

For the slide notes you can just preselect the color you're going to use, select the notes, press alt+c and this will change the selected notes' color to the new one

I find myself teaching this to most FL users I come across - In the Playlist Editor, use CTRL+RIGHTCLICK+DRAG to Zoom in on an area, and CTRL+RIGHTCLICK to Zoom-to-Fit-All.

I have a question regarding the slide notes. How can I change the acceleration of the slide going up, and how can I maintain that tone for longer? I hope it makes sense.. :D Cheers
@spektralsound77045 жыл бұрын
The speed of the actual slide is determined by the length of the slide note itself. A small slide note like in the video will give you a quick slide, but a long slide note will give you a long dramatic slide 👍

Trouble with fl studio is everything sounds very metallic
@Ghosthack6 жыл бұрын
The sound comes from your samples and your plugins, how can the DAW sound metallic? If I do the exact same song in FL Studio and in Ableton, will this suddenly sound more metallic in FL?
@Synthematix6 жыл бұрын
@@Ghosthack Sounds too metallic and digital, to the point its sterile, the plugins themselves along with fl studio itself and how it handles them is the problem, everything sounds similar
