I worked in the same emergency room as Charles Cullen, though at different years. I worked there when the news broke of his arrest and that he had killed people at the ER I was at. I asked a nurse if she remembered him, she said "Remember him?, when I had my first baby, Charles bought me a crib". I could not imagine finding out your baby slept in a bed that was bought by a serial killer.

I remember when Charles Cullen case was going on. it hit close to me as my wife had been in one of the nursing facilities he was at for inpatient physio and one of my former co-worker's mother was believed to be one of his victims, but she was not one he admitted to killing so her death is still just 'suspicious'.

Good list. There were also Bobbie Sue Dudley and Bertha Gifford. Bertha was renowned through her community for cooking and offering "medical assistance" to sick neighbors and relatives. She poisoned at least 17 people from the 1900's till she was arrested in 1928.

You should’ve also included Efren Saldivar. He was an “Angel of Death” who murdered patients while working as a respiratory therapist at a Medical Center in Glendale, California. He was convicted of six murders but could possibly be responsible for over 200 murders.

Had one in Tyler Texas who was working the ICU, injected air into central lines of the patients which, according to him, prolonged their stay in the hospital. A call between him and his wife after he was incarcerated was recorded with him stating he did it for job security because if the patients were sick longer then he could pick up more hours and that any deaths were "accidental". He received the death sentence.

Imagine being included on a list of serial killer nurses and not even having a conviction against you yet... Not saying Lucy Letby didn't do it, but seems pretty rough since trial is on going. And using her in the thumb nail too, sheesh
@58christinekay
@58christinekay 2 жыл бұрын
You've said exactly what I was thinking! I appreciate the evidence against her appears strong, but we are still to hear the case for the defence. Having the photo of her in the thumbnail is, as you say, unacceptable in this case as the obvious inference is that Lucy Letby is guilty. They should have waited until the trial was over, or simply avoided using her case for this video.

@@lad4702 While I absolutely see your point, remember that we do not know the situation in which these post-it notes have been written. Could these not have been the scrawlings of a distraught mind, slowly going mad as the world decides their guilt before they've even had a trial. Whats to say these post-its haven't been written as "they call me evil, so I must be" We have no evidence showing when these were written, her state of mind when writing them, or the meaning behind each sentence. Not to mention the UK's NHS and Police having a tendency to scapegoat a nurse, paramedic, technician etc for an issue to avoid themselves getting investigated.

I worked as a Registered Nurse for 30 years, & the most unethical thing I ever witnessed was one of my workmates withholding morphine from her patients & using it herself. She got away with it for so long that she became more & more brazen about it - she was the sort who denied it in any conceivable manner possible until the bitter end. It was a shock for me to witness. But the idea of "Angel of Death" nurses is completely incomprehensible to me. It is heartbreaking to me as a man who built his life around doing the very best he could for all his patients. -

I think the killer nurse Reta Mays would have been a good choice for your list. She was responsible for killing 7 veterans at the VA hospital in Clarksburg WV, which is scarily close to where I live. Disturbing and to think this is only 10 and there are probably more. You would think that morticians or something like a coroner's office might notice something peculiar. After all these are nurses and not actually doctors It makes you question how most people do die in hospitals. And how many serial killers that might be nurses that have never been caught. I couldn't imagine that one out of several of these serial killer nurses had gotten away with maybe more than a hundred murders or deaths that is really peculiar and scary. I thought that nurses typically made a fairly good living and made some pretty good money I have no idea why they were just simply do that sort of thing when people eventually pass away and die a lot in hospitals no matter what. That is truly evil

In the case of Lucy Letby: 1. Innocent until proven guilty. The right to a fair trial is enshrined in British law. 2. Putting it in this list could actually cause issues for the trial, as it's implying guilt where none has been conclusively proved. The point of a fair trial is to ensure that the jury reaches a decision based on the evidence presented. Any jury considered to have been influenced by the media could result in a mistrial. And that's not fair on the victims or their families.

Serious suggestion change the Lucy Letby picture. It’s still an ongoing trial and sick at that. Maybe give these poor families one last potential place to see her face unnecessarily. Normally like your content but this feels far too soon.

Sorry, video has been reported. Mentioning a person who is still on trial and not convicted as well as putting their picture on the thumbnail is not acceptable.

These women are supposed to save lives. Yet instead took them. Pure Evil. They used their gift to harm.

They really need to get psychiatrists onto these people, mainly the women as the men seem to mostly do it for the “hero” aspect. It would help us to better understand why these women felt the need to do this. Then we can better pick them out when employing medical staff.

Dr Jack Kevorkian is a doctor not a nurse plus he assisted terminally ill people who wanted to die.
