Once again, I appreciate the upload. As a matter of fact, I was literally thinking about whether it would be unusual to discuss in-depth what Sigma personalities actually represent in our society. I have a great deal of experience throughout my life that did not represent my personality today. Which raises many questions I've only been able to ask myself.

I dreaded the many networking events I had to attend over my career. The noise, chit chat, and phoniness were overwhelming. If I could avoid them, I did. If not, I would show up late walk around the room saying hello then make my finest Irish goodbye. The escape to a quiet place to reflect was always rewarding.

Never knew the definition of Sigma male until today but it seems it's me. I have been called a robot because I am always calm, I took a 10 year break from my engineering career to live and travel abroad, I am blunt, I truly feel like I don't need anyone and enjoy being alone, even though I live in an upper middle class neighborhood I drive a 10 year old economy car when many have expensive makes, I could care less what others think, I am very selective who I associate with, I don't hesitate cutting people out of my life if they negatively effect me, even my own family, etc.
@True38Ай бұрын
I'm the exact same way, only an Civic Economist and Strategist. That's why I've spent the 3 last Christmasses alone and I love it. Don't even have a car anymore but I love getting food and packages delivered straight to my door and not have any worry in the world about the stress and chaos that's happening elsewhere in this crazy world. I have a lot of investments that hopefully will skyrocket during this bull market and I aim to become financially independent as fast as possible to never have to work for anyone but myself again. I have over 20 years experience from the industry before getting an MBA, and even then I've just been stuck in a hopeless rat race and still don't own my own house at almost 40 years old. It's just a game of luck at the end of the day no matter how smart and hard you work because you can do everything 100% right and still be screwed over. Like, I haven't gotten so many jobs because I'm "overqualified" alone. It's a complete and hopeless mess and the system just don't work. Oh, and the system gives a rat ass about your free will. If I want to work as a Janitor, the system simply won't let me because it would rather place me in a box based off of my education and previous experience. If not getting the jobs I want wasn't enough, I can't even get the jobs I don't want anymore.

I believe a big issue with this is if you don’t have enough people around you to engage in meaningful conversation you don’t have a choice. I grew up here where I live now. I have very few to no friends I can text when I am deeply moved by a book I’m reading. If I reach out to them with, “did you see where our high school buddy got arrested (local news app puts an arrest report up daily) then they respond and it will end up in other conversations but the gossip kicks it off.

I've lived for 57 years, not understanding how to simply exist. The perception I give other people, that I see now, is a huge root cause of the ridicule and constant attacking. Yes, I know these displays are out of reaction and jealousy now. This information just so happens to explain so many things I never realized about myself. How other people, including family, seem to be intimidated by so many things. Society, itself, doesn't have the capacity to even begin to understand how this personality type has to deal with hostility, I he way I've been subjected to. I'm not complaining about the knowledge or society. I'm simply saying it makes sense now.

Great video, what it doesn’t tell is the alcohol problems that Sigmas deal with, I’m consuming 0.5l heavy drink a week (50-100ml with dinner), still go to gym prior and wake up at 0500 for work every day. Constantly being a misfit (society standards), especially in England where there are so many pack cultures and oversharing in offices. I have struggled with this since I was 12-14 years old, sure, you’re the best husband, great money maker and an asset to any company you work but it comes at a price. I personally can count on five fingers where I have encountered a person with similar values. If you’re a young kid, that doesn’t know what to be in life - Engineers; Architects and Doctors make just a few professions that will allow you to perform as you please. Stay strong. Youth need to see this so they know that they aren’t alone.

The most intelligent sigmas only flout what's ridiculous in society but will follow what's good in it to a T - being able to distinguish between what's truly right or wrong, loving the former and despising the latter. Less intelligent sigmas have too much of the obnoxious and rebellious child about them, and that's not a virtue by any means

7:05 My had had a constuction company that did renovations. I was on the job when I was 15 helping frame an octagon room. The wall that attached to the square building looked crooked, so I grabbed a level and checked it. It was not plumb as a beam was holding it out at the top, so I told the lead carpenter who dismissed me. The wall got drywalled and finished and when the customer found it it had to be fixed. I just said I tried to tell you. I get this a lot, but I don't force a result. It becomes their bigger problem., not mine. I run into that guy every once and a while and all he says is there was a misunderstanding. There were a lot that I recall.

True story: Have just recently met a "life & fitness coach" around two months ago. Outgoing. Soulful. Militantly positive (a bit to the extreme). Thought, I could learn a thing or two regarding unobserved aspects of my entity, when she offered coaching to me, instead of some rather expected/appropriate/useful/appreciated TLC-treatment of the ordinary, very-well scientifically researched & quite effective type. Nope. I need some coaching, first of all... ...well, after my second really constructive maneuver critique, going out together again last weekend, she's suddenly nowhere to be found. After over two months, I find this behavior at least unprofessional, mildly annoying, rather questionable and extremely impolite, to say the least. Main point this evening: she forgot some completely unimportant piece of information she started to reveal to me before she hit the dance floor, complained that I didn't forget that swift interaction and - not stopping there - even tried to GASLIGHT me into believing, she didn't mentioned it at all that night. Say what?! - James Bond "Golden Eye" alarm bells ringing from all sides. Didn't matter to her the slightest, that on a factual level of convo we didn't disagree. She seemed to be a militant discussion winner, unable to give in to minimalist corrections to her train of thought. Biz-mentality (as a coach)? Strange. Repelling. Narcissistic (from experience). Thus scary. Told her so. I've told her before (and she very much encouraged me) that she would have to read things, she might not like (even ever have thought about) because of my eccentric, Triple-Niner, IDGAF-mentality. Never thought, I'd have to refer to her recreational lifestyle choices, whatsoever. Nevertheless: if I see something, I say something; no matter who you are or how long we know each other. Up till then: ...silence... No one have known or heard about her since around a week. I'm gonna go look out for her now. See, if somebody has talked to her since... ...looks like this "life coach" seems to be in some utter need of having some serious life-coaching for herself...and I really emphasized to deliver a rather neutral, constructive, well-meaning critique, which is very easily applicable. Another ego destroyed by mirroring...? Pity... ...*SIGH*: normies... (*story maybe developing*) Remember, remember, the wits of whomever: "In any society in this world, psychopathic individuals and some of the other deviant types create a ponerogenically active network of common collusions, partially estranged from the community of normal people... Their sense of honor bids them to cheat and revile that ‘other’ human world and its values at every opportunity. (Lobaczewski, 138) (…) „Ideological Mask: The group's stated goals are often at variance with its true nature. Colorful literature and humanitarian values often mask its true motivations. Take, for example, the disparity between the CIA's stated goals, such as "Creating special, multidisciplinary centers to address such high-priority issues such as nonproliferation, counterterrorism, counterintelligence, international organized crime and narcotics trafficking, environment, and arms control intelligence", and its widespread use of terrorism, torture, overthrowing democratically elected governments, installing foreign dictators, drug trafficking, arms smuggling, etc. (…) When such individuals are treated as normal, more perceptive individuals will leave the group. When the group has become sufficiently pathological, members will either perceive its new direction in moral terms (e.g., “We must kill them all on the principle of justice and democracy”), or as a form of psychological terror. As more healthy people leave the group, taking on more counter-revolutionary positions, individuals with psychological anomalies join, removing their masks of sanity ever more often. Without adequate knowledge, normal individuals who have been ejected from such a group will suffer immensely, cut off from their original ideological reason for joining. Infected with unhealthy emotions and pathological material, they can assume positions opposite to those which they formerly followed. (…) In short, the patients have overtaken the asylum.“ ― Dr. Andrzej M. Lobaczewski („Political Ponerology“)

The sigma male concept is largely a myth created by internet culture, with no scientific basis. It’s just rebranded introversion and independence, traits already explained by established psychology frameworks. Ironically, self-proclaimed sigmas often seek validation online, contradicting the archetype's supposed indifference to social status. The concept also reinforces the same social hierarchies it claims to reject by positioning sigmas as superior. It’s heavily exploited by self-help content creators as a marketing gimmick, appealing to men who feel disillusioned with traditional masculinity. Ultimately, it promotes passive individualism, ignoring that true success often requires collaboration and engagement with society. In the end, the sigma male is just another label that encourages clout-chasing under the guise of rejecting it.
