You see it in movies and T.V. shows all the time, the guy who is secretly in love with his female friend. Believe it or not that scenario happens quite often in real life, too, you just have to know how to spot it.
Hey ladies, my name is Amy North, I’m a relationship coach from Vancouver Canada and today I’m going to share with you 10 signs that your guy friend wants to be your boyfriend. Now I know this sounds crazy, but I’m sure there have been situations where you’ve felt romantically about a male friends, too. So then, if there’s a guy in your life who is currently your friend, then watch for these signs to see if he wants to be something more.

My guy friend might do this. He talks about girls and says how hot they are, but never makes a move or dates them. He's always touching my hair or drawing stuff on my feet. And he remembers little things. He notices when I change or haven't changed. The only thing is he keeps trying to set me up with guys he chooses. He's already picked two different guys that are interested in someone one else. He keeps setting me up with guys that are interested in other people. A girl's laugh is when her heart is off guard and has a wide open lane. I make time for her. Even if it's missing part of my lunch period to finish one of HER assignments since she was absent and I don't want her to get behind. I do a lot for her. I'm never going to flirt. I don't flirt. Okay, so what if your talking to your friend about girl, kinda like gossip and he gets in on it but takes your side and continues to gossip with you about this girl? or drags you to class when your late and don't want to go? Sign six is so on point, if he's protective of you and just basically cares for you then he likes you. One of my guy friends is in love with me and I found out because of the many signs. Once we were walking together on a field and the sun was shining too bright on my face, I was like "ugh this damn sun" (while covering my face with one hand) and he, without saying a word, moved me from one side of him to another because if I was on his other side I'd have been able to avoid the sun since he's taller. That's when I was sure he liked me, I'd been suspecting it since he'd always be so interested when we talked, kept asking questions and always tried to keep the conversation going.

Well my best friend after 37 years profess his love for me. I was shocked and amazed. He was able to tell me about Memories We shared as kids and triggered my memories that was stored away. His family and our family spend lots of time together over the years . His brother married my best friend. I made them the godparents to my daughter. His other brother dated my sister for years. I met him for the first time when his brother decided to bring him over while he was visiting my sister. He was 13, I was 16 we've been the best of friends until this very day. I had gotten married and had kids and he was always in my life being very protective because of my abusive husband. Years later he went off to make his own life with his family. Life happen and we went our separate ways. He relocated in a different state I stayed back. Years later his sister-in-law, my best friend that we loved Pass away . We reconnected our friendship and continues to talk as always . We learned that we both were divorce now ,but we where always hard-working people so we talked when we could. Recently after a couple of years of reuniting a friendship. He professed his love for me two months ago. I was totally shocked. He said he always wanted to tell me but he was afraid to lose my friendship. He said he tried to tell me many times but couldn't come up with the words always thinking in the back of his mind that I might reject him. So he said now was the time to tell me because we weren't getting any younger. So I asked him, when did you have these feelings for me , he responded 37 years ago. I was flabbergasted. That's when we were kids I thought . He continue to tell me when he laid eyes on me for the first time he was taken back and he knew I was the one, and to make a long story short. Now we are together he said, he got his girl now. Unfortunately we live in different states and we have not consummated our relationship but we are together in every sense of the word. We made a commitment to each other. We plan to see each other in December and bring in the New Year by watching the ball drop N.Y.C. I was planning to relocate before this all happen into the same state he was in. Now I will live closer to him that will happen after the new year. We both have been through very bad relationships not being appreciated. I never thought in my wildest dreams that I would ever fall in love with my best friend. I always had love for him because he was such a great guy. Sometimes you have to go through several frogs before you could appreciate what's directly in front of your very own eyes. Remember it's never too late to find your special love.

Hi!!! So I really like my bestfriend. Ive known him since grade school and we are really really close. I’m scared to say something because I’d rather suffer then lose him in my life. He came to my ballet in December and he comes with me to my cousins birthday party’s and plays with them. He came to Easter with me this year as well but note he had a girlfriend at that point. He gives me the best hugs ever. I mean he hugs everyone but I think he hugs me a bit more. This week he was saying in a group setting his no one asks him to share because they know he will say no so I decided to be funny and say “can I try your coffee” and he said “if you get a cup” ( he’s a germaphobe) then proceeds to find me a cup and poor some in when I tried it I said that’s actually really good so he poised half his drink in my cup and when I finshed it he went and got himself a new one and cane back with one for me too. He doesn’t use his phone often and early texts people (he’s like a granddad) but he talk a few times a week his signals are super mixed and I suck at reading people. So there’s my life 😅😅😅

Hi Maya! It is plain and simple, the guy is a player. Perhaps this guy knows that you and your friend like him so he's taking advantage of the situation. I suggest that you don't allow him to take advantage of you especially to hold your hand or hug you since you are not in a relationship and it'll seem like you're easy to get.

There's a guy I met online and haven't met in real life yet, and all the signs that don't require us actually being together are there. He only mentions a female friend of both of us because I do, and only when she's relevant. He's single. He remembers every little detail about me, my loves, likes, and dislikes.
