In the big picture of retail, Coach is a premium brand but is NOT that outrageously expensive compared to many luxury brands. Also, anyone with access to outlet stores knows there are great deals to be had! Even department stores like Macy's will have good sales on Coach.

I buy a specific purse - L.A.M.B. Gwen Stefani leather clutch (I carry a clutch due to shoulder surgeries). I have about 20 bags in different colors including a few smaller versions. They run around $400 or more each and yes I splurge because I am worth the expense. They will last and I get attention when I carry them. I will buy shoes and purses because they make an inexpensive outfit look expensive and are versatile. I don't care what anyone else thinks and Angela neither should you. I do own an expensive designer bag. My husband came into some money and told me to buy it from the designer. I was going to buy a preloved one. But he was afraid I would get a counterfeit bag. He just found me another one at an estate sale for way less money. I’m carrying it right now. And probably will be for the summer. I need some of the Clark sandals. That’s all I wear. I need the support. I don’t care what they cost. I’m not rich, but I pick and choose what I spend money on. I bought a dress to wear to my granddaughter’s baby shower. But it’s not really me. So I sent her a picture of it, and I’m giving it to her to wear. I just need to get it to her before this weekend. I love your videos. And you buy whatever you want. Angela I agree with everyone who says that a) your amazing personality is one of my favorite on KZbin! And b) you never have to justify or explain why you brought something “expensive.” We each get to decide how to prioritize spending our money. IMO a coach bag is hardly a big expenditure - you don’t have one of those channels showing how you buy a Hermes bag every month - and those women get to spend on those bags if that’s what’s important to them. I always look for pattern matching - at seams and especially when a shirt or top has pockets. It must have two pockets or NO pockets, and they must be pattern-matched - I can look lopsided without anyone else's help!

I love Coach purses: they really last if you take reasonable care. You can always take the shoulder strap and switch it with a guitar strap. i see women using the old Coach Station Bag and replacing the strap with a guitar strap; upgraded the whole look.

Have fun on the Alaska cruise ! My daughter & family just returned from there. Juneau, Ketchikan, etc. She DEFINATELY said she only dressed up once, so your idea of using the same white dress is perfect! Layers, sweatshirts, fleece and puffer vest are basics also.

Need summer white pants? I bought thru Macy's , Jones NY, drawstring waist, beautiful loose fit. Linen/rayon, so will need some touch up, but I like the casual look. They are lined (washable) so hemming can be tricky, I sew so wasn't a problem. They cost a bit more (less than $50) but I looked ALL over and couldn't find white pants I like. Loose but very fashionable, air goes thru them, great for hot/sticky weather. I wear 8-10 and M fit perfectly.

Quince has a great linen/gauze dress that feels like I have nothing on. I’m 5’3” and it’s like a maxi on me, but is not hitting the floor with either my Dr. Scholl’s sneakers or wedges! It’s a sleeveless, tiered dress. The light blue and white dresses could use a nude slip to the knee. It’s great and nicely priced, too!

I just paid $450, with tip, three days ago to have my hair straightened with a keratin treatment! 😂 Love the QVC sandals, but I just purchased Birkenstock sandals! I personally am not a fan of the Jean purse, but many people love them! Not a fan of the t-shirt dress, and the pants looks great, linen can be high maintenance with all the wrinkles. Steamer is a great idea. Cardigans are great to bring when going to a restaurant, I bring one with me all the time! Cute maxi dress, I tend to get lost in all the material, I like shorter dresses for myself, but if I could pull off a longer one, I would! Have a great day!

Years ago we went to Alaska in August and all but one port it was cold & raining. So Just an FYI if you want to take that sleeveless summer looking dress with you. I have those linen pants from Walmart only in the Linen color, they look and fit great and yep they do get wrinkled every time you wear them so I also use a steamer. You look great in everything. I so wanted that wide stripe summer dress with the cross back to work on me but it didn't has a clingy material and I have a bit of a stomach so didn't like how it looked was sticking out on me but it was a great dress unfortunately I had to return it.
