Hannah Love This kinda makes sense to me even though I don't want it to. I'm 15, been raised in a Christian household my whole life, and I've tried so hard to get some kind of abundant connection from God. I haven't gotten anything but temporary highs coming from scarcity and my own imagination. I've found abundance in this, but I'm terrified to abandon Christianity in case I'm wrong. in case I'm wrong and I'll end up in hell. It's like a trap, and the risk seems far too great to take a chance.

After having a bout of extreme anxiety, I realize that I must feel this chaos, this darkness, and I must sit with it. If I can't deal with the darkness, how would I move towards the light? And then I awakened why I'm anxious. I realized that I am not my own guru, that I depend so much on people and what they believe about me to even define and believe in my own self. I'm ready to work through this darkness. I'm ready to merge my worlds. This is truly what I needed at this moment in time.

metipra It isn't easy at first, but it gets easier as you go along. The best thing to do is to always remain positive, and avoid conflict. Internal change comes first. Your family members will eventually adapt to your level of spiritual growth. As above, so below. True change comes from within. It's pretty rare for a devout religious person to break free from their delusions, so don't bother trying. Keep your journey to yourself. Sometimes it's best to remain aloof. Ralph, I've been watching your channel for over a year now. My parents believe I have disorders and think I'm crazy. I grew up with ADHD and I've struggled with drug addiction and trying to escape my whole life, I just don't fit in. My parents want me to get psychiatric help, but the only person I feel comfortable talking too is you. When I think of my life and I imagine this will apply to the many who walk this earth, I think of a song by Frank Sinatra - the song My Way. During our lives we will, take the wrong road, make mistakes, do and say the wrong things. This is life..and is expected. The thing is to realise these failings in ourselves..and not in others. We first have to heal ourselves before we can hope to try and heal others. We are both doctor and patient. Frank Sinatra, says it best for me..about me. I did life my way..and on many occasions paid the price for it..but in the end I saw the light and turned it around. I was a heavy drinker..now a T-total, I was a smoker, now a none smoker, I loved meat..rare, now a vegitarian, I used to smoke weed and pop acid..now none, I was bad tempered..now calm and forgiving. I still have many, many faults..ask my wife...thing is, I recognised my failings and try to put them right. I still have a long road ahead..but I am up for it. Meditation, has been a saving grace for me. Now life is not about me but others. I must sound like a saint in the making...no..my wife will tell you, I am a pain in the ass..but she loves me..so she tells me. 😇😉😁
