I agreed that mirrors help expand the feeling of the room.. but trust me they should not be at the front of the bed lol

I need a king-sized bed because my husband sleeps like a madman. But I found extra narrow side tables to use. Amazingly, it looks balanced. Lamps with a port for charging phones are fantastic, one less wire looking for an outlet.

I saw some nice lamps with wireless charging at IKEA as well, definitely a good idea to minimise clutter.

What's yr definition of yr idea of a small bedroom?I'm talking g about 7 ft by 6ft . . . . That's small

I agree, my partner and I have a smallish bedroom 12 x11 but we knew we needed a king size bed as we had 4 small dogs that slept with us. So I opted to not have any dressers or chairs in the room. Instead we focused on the bed and 2 small nightstands. Putting our clothing in closets instead. It works well for us.

I live in an apartment and your tips are really great for such a small space. Thank you very much for your help. Greetings from Chile (South America) 🤩

When we first moved into our house, the main bedroom was school bus yellow. Ghastly! I got a headache whenever I was in the room. I chose Benjamin Moore’s Hidden Sanctuary (1375) as the wall colour, and Peace & Happiness (1380) for the ceiling. A soft white trim created a nice separation.

Thank you for this helpful information on small bedrooms. I’m inspired by your videos. I’m in the process of downsizing my small, one bedroom rental apartment. I hope you will do more videos on small spaces, and how to create cohesiveness between my small kitchen, small family room and very small bathroom. I especially would like additional tips on creating special small apartment areas on a budget. Thank you for sharing your design ideas.

Thanks for the tips! I live next to a busy road and I am afraid that putting a mirror opposite the window will reflect the sound rather than having the wall absorb it. I'm wondering where would be the best place to put the mirror.... Probably for noise control the mirror should be on the same wall as the window but aesthetically this doesn't really work. Tricky.

Hey Reynard, just want to say I love all your tips and videos. But, just a suggestion: could you changed your background, please? Because of your voice and add the background, I almost feel like I'm watching something to help fall asleep.

im 13 and im fed up with my pretty small but heavily cluttered room, im planning to clean out my room when school holidays come in two weeks. Rn i cleaned and sorted some clutter on my desk, extra chair and closet and put stuff in a plastic bag to store away. I am just wondering how i can arrange my room in a way to where i have space, i have my bed to the side, a large desk against the large aluminium window to my right, a night stand, a stool which is next to it, where a large office chair is also next to it, with being a large portable a/c is next to it

My bedroom is 2,03 m x 4 m. The door is at one of the short walls. I have a 140 x 200 cm bed. The bed is placed across the room, so there is just 3 cm of space at the end. That gives me the most space in the bedroom, so there is also space for a wardrobe and a desk (which is necessary to work from home). I don't hate the setup, but I also don't love it. And I don't know what I could do better.

I also have a very small multi-functional bedroom. I have a murphy bed that I close when I work. Behind the head there is a small bedside table. There is an LED strip above the bed that I turn on in the evening instead of a bedside lamp. I keep things on shelves in seagrass baskets, so there is no mess. I also have a treadmill under my desk. At the front of the bed by the door is a prayer area, with paintings hanging on the wall and a small electric fireplace next to it. Unfortunately, I couldn't place the desk in the living room because the light was falling on the screen. I would have to cover all the windows.

seems like you have a really narrow bedroom, my room is equal in lenght and width, you have a longer room but narrower room than mine You can always somehow get your room designed in a way that you have space

My issue in the bedroom I’m living in is no electrical outlets only 2 plugs
@reynardlowell10 ай бұрын
Yeah that can be annoying. What about extension cables and 4/6 way outlets/powerboard? Then you can put them inside a cable box to keep it neat (and hide them on the edge of the bed, or behind a nightstand).

I found Tatamis+futon make a perfect bed for small rooms, they don't look like something you can't step on and that makes a huge difference in the feel of the room. That is also very elegant.
