A "Grom" is NOT 'tiny'...in fact, it isn't even 'small' unless compared to much larger machines with much larger engines.
@automotiveterritory6 жыл бұрын
Can you name more motorcycles that are smaller than the Grom? If not, then it's the smallest and can be called tiny, especially if you see a larger rider on it.

Bought a z125 pro last summer, love it so much, tons of endless fun. Also have 2002 vfr 800, so I got the big fast bike covered. Not sure I could recommend the z125 as an only bike unless you only commute around town. It’s truly the best secondary bike though.

To be honest I don’t stunt mine but their are tons of awesome stunt cages and wheelie bars out there. From what I’ve heard and seen they are a great bike for that. Probably a great learner for stunting, if you can get the front end up on a z125 pro then you can get the front end up on anything.

i had an early model benelli 4 speed, blue frame, silver tank and trimmings with studded tires and speedo integrated into the top of the headlight. there were turning signals too. it shared the same engine and carb with a "harley davidson" made in italy. the entire engine and transmission were interchangable. just one single cylinder, i dont know how many cc's it really had. i think a gear had gone out of the benelli, and since i never had the harley running, i dont know much. they were both road legal. i just cant remember much. the benelli had handle bars that had a cam lever you could flip and then fold the bars in and make it easier to load into a car. i loved it while it lasted, but i quickly outgrew the little 2 stroke, and ended up with a hodaka that had been beaten up. it still helped me learn. unfortunately i got run off the road by a farmer in 2010, and im always in pain. but in the nice weather here in iowa, i hear a bike, and close my eyes and dream of rolling on 2 wheels. being stuck in a wheelchair only taught me that anything can happen, no matter how cautious you are! be safe, have fun, ride on!

I have a Spade as my second cruise around light weight explorer. I've had a great time with it. It's great for cruising and will maintain 60mph on the flats in fifth gear and pull up hard grades between 45-50mph in forth. Had it up to 69mph so far without modifications (slight down hill with the gods blowing at my back). My other bike is a Yamaha FZ6 and unless I'm going on the interstate or for a long ride the Spade is the first choice to ride. If you're looking to stunt, other choices like the Honda Grom or Kawasaki Z125 are a better choice. Stunting is not my cup of tea at this point in my life.

The Monkey is only $3,999 - for $5,999 you could get a KTM Duke 390 for less. Interestingly the Z is a better choice over the Grom while also being cheaper. For the price they're asking for these new 125's ( which you'll grow out of in 1 season & CAN'T go on the highway ) you could get a used 750cc cruiser that you'll want to ride for @ least 3yrs & CAN go on the highway. As I've got over 15 yrs of riding experience I can tell you, DON'T ride tiny bikes as your 1st motorcycle, start w/a 500cc bike ( used ). You can find good running used harley sportsters for 2500$ . If you want a 125cc get a scooter as theives go after those Groms & tiny bikes alot nowadays.

Automotive Territory: Trending News & Car Reviews now that I have taken time to rewatch the video I have found that many of the mistakes have actually been on my behalf with the exception of a few pricing errors such as the monkey and the grom On a side note it would have been nice to know weather the motorcycles are abs or not I appreciate your interest in your audiences opinion and apologize for the misunderstanding.
@automotiveterritory6 жыл бұрын
Yeah. The Monkey price was displayed in Australian dollars, my bad. As for the Grom, it currently costs $3,300 for the base configuration of 2019 model year, pretty close to the price in the video. Thanks for stopping by, and I hope the video was useful to you!

If you were avare of the reference he's making, you'd never post such an ignorant comment. There is a video about miniature motorcycle replicas that look like toys but have a working motors. Damn, I'm tired from explaining, just search for small bikes with engines.

I HATED the zero’s marketing video. It showed the rider doing hooligan stuff on city streets. The stunts weren’t the problem, it was the context. You only have to watch a few motostars videos to realize the world is full of young men who think that is the way to ride on roads and highways. Where did they get that idea?!
