I was sat looking at my big rack of drums and thought it was about time I actually did a video like this.
I recorded each of my snares, in order of how much I paid for them, from lowest to highest. The cheapest cost less than £80 and the most expensive north of £500. I personally think the Premier 1026 at the start sounds as "good" as the Noble and Cooley at the end - it was a fun experiment either way.
Let me know which your favourite is! The 402 will always be the ultimate killer for me.
