my chickens were called peachie and papaya! i love them so dearly that i kept their first ever eggs, just because i was so proud of them also, the stack purchase thing is SO useful! finally, no more having to alternate between left and right clicking while holding down shift

Gifts from pets can be rerolled the same way as gifts from the mail, so once you have a day where the pet gives you a gift, you can reset until it gives you the one you need. Cat is the best for CC% because it can give rabbit's foot and duck feather but dog might be better for perfection because it can yield artifacts, including the rare disc. It can also give hardwood.

mystery boxes cutscene happens either after 50 days in the valley OR after 2 prize tickets (which also drop from help wanted quests). so that might be helpful.

my chickens are chip and dip! I restarted my farm after the first day and in that save they were named Lucky and Clover :)
