I'm all for conservation, and I'm glad prarie dogs weren't eradicated completely, but their numbers do need to be kept in check, and apparently, it took humans to do so. 400 million prarie dogs in one colony 25,000 square miles!? That's unfathomable!

Missed Simon. Miss Karl. I think Karl was at burnout before TopTenz and it was great to see him hosting. I'd like to see him back. Not sure it's fair to be giving Eric hate. I think it's fair to say Eric is far more calming and predictable, like Simon. Karl was faster speaking and far more enthusiastic. Simon managed to incorporate some Fact Fiendness into Today I Found Out and Business Blaze, for me Karl was refreshing on Top Tenz. Eric is accomplished and needs a fair chance.

One thing we both really wanted to change was the quality of writing, though. This script was much better than the last one, but in general we're cleaning house and trying to improve the quality. It's hard to get excited for pieces with stilted writing in general. The quality should improve over time.

I just found and watched the video to figure out who tf this guy is. Frankly that executive producer would probably be a better host than this guy. She sat there and explained how she was responsible for losing our beloved Simon, and yet, that was easier to sit and listen to than this.

It's Bow-er bird (bau-uh buhd). Like the Bow of a ship. Not a bow as in Archery. I'm guessing you are a Seppo (American). As they never pronounce any words not American right. Nor do they bother to do a simple search to learn how to do it right. I swear Seppo's get every single Aussie word wrong all the time.
