I love that you always tell people to overdress. So many look disheveled in public, they have no pride in appearance. It's a thing of the past. I often get asked why are you in a dress when others are in jeans. It's not a ballgown, it's just a basic dress and it's pressed. Great tips!

Great tips. I also shop maternity, many styles aren’t really much bigger, just stretchier, so they pull in tight if no baby bump. I’m not including those stretch panel pants, of course. Also, I have found items I love in plus size, the smallest plus size can fit the same as a Large, my size. Sometimes, if an item is sold out in regular sizes, they might have it in plus. Because I do most of my own alterations, I just take them in where needed. I have to do this with most tops, anyway, because I have a large bust but narrow/average shoulders and hips.

If you love vintage, check out Amazon clothes. They now have 1980-1990 style clothes. Some have a pencil waist with full skirts. I think they sell those undergarments that poof out the skirt. Check out this clothing site. They have a chart for you to put your measurements in so you get an accurate fit.
