Hello lovelies, today I will be discussing ten style lessons from Brigitte Bardot.

My mom did follow Brigitte called cropped pants clam-diggers. She love this style from the knees down she had great legs, knees not so much.

Shame you didn't mention that she asked Repetto, a famous French ballet flats maker to make her flats as tiny as possible to wear it outside of dancing stage and it's her who popularized that type of shoes, which was only to be seen on ballerinas before her. Next thing was the Vichy check fabric (gingham) which was used previously as window curtains or table cloths before and started such a fashion in the 60s that France run out of that fabric. (She famously wore pink and white gingham dress to her second wedding to Jacques Charrier in 1959). Another thing was strapless bra which she famously wore and which wasn't used that much before. In Poland it's called "Bardotka", which is Bardot's nickname in Poland. It's known as popularized by BB again.

Bardot was friends with my husband's family. He grew up in Paris and St. Tropez and as Bardot still lives in St. Trop, she was friends with my husband's dad. Her Repetto balllet flats have been such an inspiration to me that the Repetto brand is my go-to and I have purchased quite a few pairs on our trips to France. She was also a pretty popular singer in France as well. She's got a very cute voice! I LOVED this video. Thank you so much for showcasing her!!
