Yeah, if return by death is a witch factor authority, then it would probably be envy. No because of the witch, and because it’s an inherently envious ability- afterall Subaru envies the version of himself in the better alternatives, so he can use return by death to become them. And it’s also great story wise, because the more he develops and better he becomes, the less he would need to die to do that- because he wouldn’t need to envy others.

However after the White Whale subjugation Subaru admitted that if he was not already in love with Emilia Crusch could’ve been a woman he could see himself falling for. Crusch also admitted that there were moments Subaru made her heart flutter but she’s too focused on her goal to seriously consider romance. I don’t think Subaru sees Crusch in that way(or he chooses not to), but since Crusch had lost her memories it’s unclear how that has effected her perception/relationship towards Subaru.

All Archbishops of Sin have an extremely crazy and/or interesting ability. The ability to constantly return from the dead and go back in time is worthy of an archbishop sincerely and frankly the most dangerous of them. [Spoiler alert] With that he not only beat Betelgeuse but also found a way to beat Regulus who was tremendously strong and in the alternative route (What if) of Re Zero, the route of pride (curiously they consider Subaru the archbishop of pride) Subaru finds How to beat Reinhardt. Although he "lost" the fight against Reinhardt, this Subaru won the war. Reinhardt defeats this Subaru but Subaru manages to get what he wanted and Reinhardt instead is left with a bad taste in his mouth, it is Subaru's victory against Reinhardt.

The biggest thing in the Light Novels that doesn’t show up or mentioned as much in the anime or manga is his PTSD. He doesn’t really get over it in the light novels until he finally gets laid but it doesn’t completely stop it. Up to the current book he still gets nightmares, headaches, times where he forgets things or where he is, mini phobias, panic attacks, mental delusions, hallucinations, and periods of depression. Subaru is growing as a person but is still very broken at the subconscious level.

It wasn't actually in Arc 6 when he did self-harm, just when it was revealed. The incidents of self-harm most likely occurred between Arcs 4 and 5, since Beatrice knew about them and even helped heal them. It's most likely due to the sudden lack of constantly dying for an entire year, leading to him having to either remind himself he is infact, alive, or just needing some stimuli that feels familiar
