Good points. I think people also like us because we give others space and are non possessive.

What you said about being a contact or confidant clicked so hard with me. I feel the exact same way. I'm glad you make the content that you do.

If it helps, I talked to someone who liked me a great deal and they said they had a friend who was diagnosed with schizoid personality disorder and they loved them.

Ms. Vision, your videos are awesome and very clear about really abstract stuff, a hard thing to pull off normally, but of course I'm not surprised that if anyone could do it, a schizoid could. I haven't watched all your videos yet, but every single one I do watch, I find extremely enlightening. I am a recently diagnosed schizoid, and your content has advanced my understanding much faster than I could ever achieve trying to read all the old books or articles out there. The internet and schizoid people are much better off with you and your videos here. Thanks so much for putting them out. - PDAMB -

Thank you for your feedback. I'm pleased to hear that you've found my content enlightening. Having the internal experience of the schizoid psychological state to analyze and unpack certainly helps when discussing these issues. I've read many older texts, and yes, a lot of their content is presented in language that isn't friendly to the layperson. I've endeavored to make my content as clear and accessible as possible. Therefore, it's good to hear that you've found it valuable. All the best to you.

I hear what you're saying. I think that when the true self is hidden, it can seem that other people are only relating to a small part of who you are... and it leaves a lot of room for others to fill in the blanks.

Excellent videoand very accurate. In my experience people might be destabilise by schizoidness at first but it can grow on them with time and some can truly appreciate those qualities. Also I would add that schizoid individuals tend to be emotionally and intellectually stable in time and I think that people can also feel reassured by that 'knowing what to expect' and not getting any 'bad surprises'. Anyway great video!

Highlighting that schizoid individuals often exhibit emotional and intellectual stability over time, is a valuable observation. I think that schizoid consistency in behavior and presentation may stem (in part) from an absence of the emotional fluctuations commonly seen in other conditions, providing them with a high degree of steadiness. Thank you for making this point.

@@SchizoidVision you are welcomed this observation is based both in personal experience and clinical understanding. The more I meet schizoid individuals the more I realise that they can be accepted and appreciated by communities that make efforts to understand and adapt to them. And with time their stability and evaluation are seen as assets. Anyway thanks again for your videos!

Great video, but I have a little quibble: when I’m with a group in a social setting, I am the last person to be “looking out” for the well-being and safety of my companions - I’m so paranoid/neurotic, all of my energy is focused on myself in that regard.

I hear you, I think that this does vary from individual to individual.... I've noticed this becomes particularly pertinent in one-on-one interactions, whereby, I feel that the other person is leading me to join them in a situational realm that feels unsafe, and potentially harmful to both parties. Pointing out the situation as unsafe or unwise acts as a safeguard for myself and serves as a caution for the other person.

One thing I have noticed is that schizoids tend to talk very slowly. I have compared this to people with ADHD who tend to talk fast without thinking about what they are saying. It is almost like we are drawn to each other naturally despite we both ostracized by society for our traits.

I think languid subtype schizoids talk slowly.. but the remote subtype for example is able to blend better and can talk at a 'normal' pace, but internally struggle immensely with feeling safe around others and have a consistent yearning to be alone Or maybe it's just overt Vs covert schizoids when observing pace of speech

Not true... You may still be schizoid... How people respond to you depends on the sort of schizoid you are, who you interact with/situations you are exposed to etc.... The 'why people hate schizoids' video is in the pipeline...

I totally understand the feeling at times, and I found this quote that I think you may like as much as I do. He has no enemies, but is intensely disliked by his friends. (Oscar Wilde)
