But just know that you are appreciated for your support (by DVD & and all of subscribers, etc) even if your name isn't on the screen. Louis Cypher ........I totally agree until I watched Satoshi Kon’s Anime masterpieces. They were just that good. 😍 Unfortunately he passed and he will be missed. Just Google his name, “Satoshi Kon”. And watch anything he wrote and directed. Can’t really pigeonhole his movies, but perhaps start with Perfect Blue, which I think is one of his best. They are truly mind bending and you can find them dubbed but the Japanese voice actors have perfected these Anime movies with some of the best acting out there. Trust me......his movies are so high quality in both acting and directing. You gotta give these a go. You won’t mind the reading. The stories are just so engaging that you won’t even realize that you are watching Japanese subtitles. They are just that damn good.🤩👏🥰

But something most people aren't aware of, is the amount of discussion you can find about the film. Try Googling "Sucker Punch explained" or "Why Sucker Punch is smarter than you think". You might be surprised at the number of articles you'll find and how much they raise questions that will open up a different perspectives that you may not have considered. Adam Sandler was amazing in the movie "Punch drunk love", a very off-beat, obscure drama. Not your typical, goofy, "I want to touch the hiney", oddball humor. The storyline in sucker punch is bomb. *spoiler alert* If you thought the story was lacking here is a bit of explanation for perspective. Each reality is a version of the "real" world. Even baby doll herself is an imagination of the real main character who is sweet pea. Watch closely and you'll see. Each of the girls represent important parts of the main characters personality. When the doctor performs the lobotomy, each of the girls die in sequential order based on how the needle penetrates parts of the brain correlating to each "character". It's all about escape and dissociation to overcome trauma. It was tragic and pretty accurate portraying the leaps and bounds our minds go through to cope. "You have all the weapons you need, now fight"
