A good portion of your off road issue was the DCT itself. It doesn't want to let that clutch slip too much.

I think the touch pads on the wheel were better when they were shaped like the ones on old Blackberrys. IMO they were easier to use before they switched to the new wheel design with the all haptic buttons.

I know what you mean about the DCT. my a4 is constantly clunking at low speeds. its decently smooth but you can never get away from feeling and hearing it.
