Davies is still a integral part of the Bayern starting 11 and at least a top 3 leftback, if not the best. So no he isn't a fullback of the future, he is the fullback of the present.

Penalties approximately have an 80% success rate in pro football and the difference between Courtois and the vast majority of other pro goalkeepers is only a few percent.
