I think there is a slight mistake here in the beginning and maybe Vini couldn't explain because of the language but I think he is not talking about that he used cleats to everywhere as a kid, he is talking that he used soccer turf shoes or "futsal" shoes to everywhere as a kid. I am saying this from experience because in Mexico kids do the same thing and I did too, at least in the 2010's. Overall very cool! Hala Madrid!

Obviously he had a translator but we can’t hear the translator so we can only assume the translator is speaking Spanish since Vini is responding in Spanish. Even if someone can speak a different language they usually don’t fully express themselves as they would in their native language which in Vini’s case is Brazilian Portuguese. All languages have nuances/phrases/sayings that can’t fully be expressed in another language. Translating full blown conversations is never 1 to 1 hence the term “Lost in Translation”. If you go watch the Neymar Episode which they mentioned in the video Neymar is speaking Brazilian Portuguese; I wish it was the same in this video. And yes I understand and speak both Spanish and Portuguese.
