The raid isnt bad because its too hard or too easy. Its bad because the loot is terrible. Nobody wants to go through it for the loot. Theres no amazing raid weapons like before. Yea theres the exotic but thats it. The gear is also pointless. Cool looking and thats all. Also there's really only one boss instead of the usual 3-4

I agree 1000x I’d also add in lack of a codex to collect all the lore I’ve found along the way, from story, side quests, and scannables. The lack of hidden collectibles like ghosts to hunt for. The missing grimoire challenges that would give you little things to work towards to extend the game and give you a little more info. And the grimoire score for that matter. You see a guardian within a certain score bracket and you know they’ve got some experience, regardless of the level of the current character they’re playing as. All little things from the first game that don’t make sense not being in this ‘sequel’.

The campaign annoyed me coz the whole build up was based around you loosing your light and having to try and survive without it. Then you do one mission without it and get it back in the next. Also, its based heavily around being separated from your allies, then like 3 missions in you find Zavala, then Cayde, then Ikora one after another. Also, Ghul was built up as the biggest baddest boss and you then kill him in an easy, underwhelming story mission. In my opinion, the story felt too compact. It should have been more drawn out. Maybe 2 or 3 more missions without your light, just guns. Maybe when you found each vanguard member you then do a full mission with them at your side and then maybe one with all 3 of them. It's that whole saying of 'quality over quantity' and whilst the quality is there, you still need some quantity.

I hate that you can't match-make for Laviathon. Why? So we are forced to join a clan, in order to have the CHANCE to play the Raid? But if you don't have a LARGE clan inviting you, then you have to have a clan that just happens to have 6 people on at the same time, that want to raid, that have the Hours it takes to accomplish. That's a rare thing, so most of the time, you DON'T get to do the Raid. Bungie did this same BS in Destiny 1, they think EVERYONE has 80 friends online to team up with, and thus just expect people to have this pool of people to play with at all times. We don't. MOST people, play alone and only join a Clan for the purpose of getting help. So instead of having ALLLL the individuals have a way to match up with one another, we have to wait 20-40 minutes JUST to do the damned Nightfall Strikes, and not have a chance to do the Raid at all? It's a STUPID STUPID mechanic that absolutely makes NO sense whatsoever, and it's embarrassing that Bungie can't seem to figure out that FORCING people to join a CLan doesn't embrace community. The fact that the players have to rely on some 3rd party web site so that people can 'team up'..... is Stupid. It's just another reason why I HATED Destiny 1, and why I will NEVER ever buy an expansion from this stupid, stupid, company.

Mona nothing about the armor is unique and doesn't even work properly stats wise, the weapons have slightly different skins for "variety," the weapon customization is shite, the story feels rushed, the PvP is clearly unbalanced... The list keeps going. I was in Destiny 1 year 1 and I hated the ridiculous grind but they eventually found a good balance but now I get three exotic engrams a DAY. I'm not even being a damn try hard it just lost its luster too quickly.

Things I cannot stand about Bungie's newest title, "Destiny 2" 1. The loss of being able to decrypt engrams at the Cryptarch. 2. Not being able to join individual Factions ( yet ) 3. Weapons and Armor no longer have randomized perks. 4. Supers are less customizable in terms of selecting specific abilities. 5. The lack of being able to purchase Ships, Sparrows, and Shaders. 6. 50% of the games content is locked until nearly completing the entire story. 7. Shaders and Mods being single use over being unlimited, as was the case with the first title in the series. 8. Very little content for a next-generation title. The first title in the series had more content/planets then it's predecessor. 9. Loss of the ability to replay story missions, also consolidating Strikes and Crucible into playlists. 10. The removal of the daily activities, including bounties and the daily story mission along with other events that were awarded daily.

I'm annoyed that they took away the helicopter spin on arcstrider and how low the armor is. Arcstrider is my absolute most favorite class, but it ruins the fun of a game if Everytime I pop the super I get triple teamed and taken out in a second, as if I didn't gain any additional armor. And if people are above you they have the advantage, the helicopter spin move was perfect, it gave a feeling of mobility and utility. I wish bungie can bring it back but Nerf it slightly if that's what it takes. If anyone agrees give a thumbs up. And please, Bungie needs to pay attention to the problems with arcstrider, let them know or contact them in some way.

Destiny OGgaming Agreed it does need something to help it close the gap on enemies. Stormcaller has the blink, sentinel titan can put up the shield and walk but with arcstrider there is nothing. You just have to run and hope to make it to them without dying.

A lot of these points see to be missing the big issue.. - Raid..this raid SUCKS... its not that the raid is too easy or hard...IT JUST SUCKS!ITS BORING....They went all out on trying to make the raid mechanic heavy..and sacrificed gameplay....challenges is just a lazy excuse for not having a boss..rewards... are bland...infusing guns sucks... it feels like its forcing players just to use certain guns rather than letting players use the guns they want.. - Cruicble.. is lame.. bring back separate modes.... - perk trees for weapons, armor and subclasses are all useles...their is no diversity within the game..and its painfully obvious... - Story plot is UNINTERESTING....d2 story mode is painfully boring..and unless you have a character with a sparrow your stuck running through this huge ass worlds...with no transport... at least D1 gave ppl sparrows early on.. - Strikes..ARE BORING...bosses are UNINTERESTING...its literally nothing we haven't seen before.. just Jumbo sized.. versions of the normal adds...I remember i could actually sit through and grind D1 strikes because they were fun....D2 strikes are boring af. Lets be honest people really bitch and moan about destiny's story..but players only spend like 20% of their time on the story then 80% on end game activities...Overall D1 is was still a better game....i don't get why D2 gets high praise for being better..when its not at all..

I think the enemy types are fine. I think if they tried to add a new enemy type it would make the game stray away from the intended story. But who knows, at the end of the campaign we see the "triangle ships" making a move towards the traveler. I'm fine with the same enemy types, but if bungie can integrate a new alien species into the story, that's even better

That was an intentional choice. They wanted you to be on foot so you have time to take in the world they've built rather than zipping by in a blur. I do see where you're coming from, from an annoyance point of view though. BTW your 2nd and 3rd characters can just get a sparrow from your vault (courtesy of 1st character) and use it from like level 2.

Agreed! The only time I would get a potentially new exotic in D1 was when Xur came along. Otherwise I would have to wait to get EXTREMELY lucky to get one from a legendary engram, which would maybe happen once a week, if I was lucky (Depending on how much I played) and even then, it was an exotic I already more than likely had. D2 hands you exotics (Literally) They definitely catered towards a more casual market with D2. It’s funny though....Compared to D1, sales and the player base is down. Also the other thing that D2 could have easily had. What happened to several other locals from D1 and IO isnt the only moon of Jupiter. Europa, Ganymede, Callisto. Saturn has I believe 4 or 5 satellites or moons same with Neptune Uranus. Pluto and I hear we have even more planets in the outer reaches of our solar system Eris and Persephone being a couple others. Dont forget even Pluto has the Moon of Charon. Oh hell alot of sci fi games have even extrapolated planets and inreresting worlds look at ELITE DANGEROUSES 500 billion star galaxy. They could have had a couple galaxies to travel to we have the Vex Fallen Cabal and hive. Even the awoken. Is it possible they could have unique homeworlds too????? Hell yes

Not trying to nit-pic, but Crucible doesn't disable weapon perks, it ignores/disables power level. A level 200 Origin Story auto rifle works and damages the exact same as a level 300 Origin Story. That is not the case in higher level PvP activities like Trials or Iron Banner, but for the everyday playlists that is what gets disabled, not the perks.

The progression system, specifically the engrams. D1 legendary engrams could be used to get higher light gear so the grind was worthwhile. Now the only engrams that do that are the luminous and those still drop below my power level. You have to do a few certain things and if you don't the grind nets you no power bump. The rest of the game is now obsolete when it comes to progressing your power level

Two major things that Destiny 2 should have are more crucible modes like D1 had. That one should’ve already been in at launch. It was mistake to lock the crucible in at only 4v4. The second is the implementation of a codex (somewhat like Mass Effects) where you could unlock Destiny lore through progression in the game. Maybe have notable NPC’s like Ikora or Tyra have an item of interest brought to them and then unlock a codex entry and break into a narrative. MynameisByf does a great job of this but it would add so much more to Destiny if it was implemented in game.
