you want some real advice on how to keep that rank or to get up there as fast as possible believe in yourself the mental state of mind is the hardest thing to train in cs you can be a god with the ak or the awp but if your in a 1v1 or clutch and you let your adrenalin get the upper hand your doomed to fail another thing is to force them to give up the style your opponents are comfortable with globals tend to train long hours every day on how to throw grenades aim on certain corners and prefire through spots where the opponent is most likely gonna be break that mentality do the unthinkable surprise them hit them when they expect it the least and blow their composure to smithereens push them with shotguns or mps while they try to place their nades jump arround corners where they are most likely sitting arround aiming through their awp scope and try to put the opponents into the position where they start to fight each other on who is responsible for their failure. and last but not least get a team and train with it until you dont have to communicate with words anymore they should understand what your doing without having to ask about your tactics they should know how to back you up in each situations where they have to go once you succeeded or died and they have to stay calm just like you

Also, here is another fact for you that you will probably just straight up deny. Team Fortress 2 has higher skill cap than Counter Strike, like much higher. You may be right that you follow all those steps, but maybe you are not executing them right. Baiting, for example, took me a long time to get right, because it sometimes involves you sacrificing yourself, something I rarely encounter on a lower level.As well as preaiming, many lower level csgo players often do not understand that you do not hug the corner or doorway with your crosshair but rather give it a little notch in either direction to compensate for you overreaction to an enemy. I myself actually aim into the wall mostly, because I learned that I mostly overextend my crosshair, and thus miss my target. There are too many factors that need to be considered to list them here.As not quite a Global Elite, but as a good SMFC player, I actually find these tips very representative of our playstyle, but that said I only have 750 hours and might not be top notch in every aspect of the game.

I am LEM and I didnt get higher than Supreme. I always make sure I play my role and do the best thing for the team. I bait a lot, bait out shots, bait for my team. I know the spray patterns for the guns I use. I pre-aim and check every spot every time, when I know the enemy position, I pre-fire it. I peek as far away from corner as possible most of the time, unless I want to make a different peek that might benefit me. I rage only about my mistakes, usually by punching the table or keyboard (doesnt happen too often). When I was more active I used to DM for more than hour every day. I think my gamesense is really good due to thousands of hours of playing the game and watching pro matches. I stutter step properly, even though my movement is not great (especially strafe jumps or bhopping), I still thing its good enough. I crouch more than average player on my level, but all that is a part of avoiding being headshotted and controlling my spray (it happens to me that I crouch in middle of fight, but dont stand up anymore, but at that point dying is fault of aim or spray failure rather than being a sitting duck). With all this, I made it just to Supreme, even though I think I maybe had a bit of competitive potentional

I guess I tilted too much every time, thats why I was failing. Now I am nearly 18 years old, and I still dont have a team and dont have any competitive experience. I cant play with my friends because they dont want to play competitively on higher level. I pretty much gave up like month ago and went inactive, because even though I was practicing more than before, I was playing worse and worse, and also realized I dont have enough time to practice due to school and other stuff. I still love it so much and now during my holiday I play nearly every day just some casual for fun, because I dont want to play competitive. I will try to take a longer break from competitive, probably until summer holiday, because first half of the year is going to be very busy for me anyways. Then I will try my best during holiday, but I am affraid I wont have much time due to school again after holiday ends

lol dude, im high skill in counterstrike since 9 years. nobody which can play a little bit will become silver. even between low skill and mid skill is a big difference. as soon as you become good in counterstrike like mid skill or higher, you will understand the difference between good and bad (low) players. when i startet with css 11 years ago, i thought i would be good, when i had like 20:2 stats on public after 2-4 month. but it was no comparison to the way i played 2 years later, when i reached the really good level (high skill). at that moment i realized that i was low in the beginning. because good stats alone doesnt mean skill. "70%" of the players in general will never become really good. even if they think they are good already.

the people you are talking about maybe stuck in mge/dmg or legendary eagle, but not in silver. there is a reason why you got ranked in silver, and if you would be good enough, you would carry yourself out of silver with ease. the majority of silvers are playing like bots, so there is no reason to become or stuck in silver as a "good" player. like i say, if you become good in cs, you will know the difference between good players, and people which think "they are good, but deserve a higher rank". i play 90% solo queue, and my first rank in cs go was mg2, even after a break of 4-5 years without cs. 2 weeks later i was dmg.

That tricks are useful for silvers. I think every gold nova player know these facts/tricks. It is so hard to rank up alone. The only way to rank up is to play with a full team or get boosted and learn to play against higher ranks.

I would like to add that when you play online matchmaking, you usually get like 5-50 ping. And with that ping the guy who is pushing will always see first. As you push a corner, the time it takes for him to see you, is that ammount the ping is. so if say you both have 50 ping to the server, then it takes time for the information to travel to eachothers computer. That way if you push the ct holding a corner you will see him, before he sees you.delay is powerfull, and i play crazy agressive when im ct, and i get global easy, i have soloqued 2 accounts to global while i was high on weed and painkillers. gg world, drugs make you play better if you're already smart.

actual global tipps: get a 144hz screen and a good pc 7.1 headset and good mouse learn proper strats and rotations and smokes train your aim to a point where you need about 1-3 bullets per enemy learn to preaim and prefire don't peek so much and look for advantages play in a 5 player team learn to communicate properly and effectively train your movement on kz servers play a fuckton play calm and focused especially strats, movement and aim is what puts globals above the rest, things like proper team composistion, callouts etc. should be a given. DMG-LEM are very fast and aim heavy ranks, while supreme-global are slower and much more strat focused. Since everyone on global should be able to rip off your head with 1-2 shots, it's very important to create situation where you can get the upper hand. Global is very grindy so i don't recommend anyone that's playing less than 4-6hrs a day to go for it.

Nah warmup never helps for me, I play evenly good/bad even with or without warmup. But I do know some people that sometimes blame they didn't warmup if they get a bad game lol

I clicked on this video because I'm on a bit of a Valve Guides rampage lol. I hear the opening message and introduction. I got a little bit excited ngl. But here's what I think of these 10 things. 10. I'm always the entry fragger or the support and I make sure people know that. 9. I do this a lot, usually as the bait though 8. I've literally learnt the recoil patterns for every gun I use 7. I always place my crosshair at the right place when camping, I don't usually prefire but sometimes I fire once and fake reload 6. Most of the time I do this 5. Ok I admit I rage a lot 4. I usually play deathmatch to warmup before playing comp 3. My game sense is generally bad, but usually I can predict things like rotations and stuffs 2. I do this a lot 1. I don't crouch much if at all, but sometimes I crouch when I want to one tap with an AK I do a lot of these things yet I'm silver 2 lol

how to deal with #1 in a more effective way. bind what would be your crouch key (default ctrl) to kill. you will be dying ALOT and it will get you out of the habit.
