Zed8976 When I was in silver league I hated using my mic as well, since I'm living in Europe there were always some people (usually Russians ^^; ) who can't or don't want to speak English and are just raging around and shouting things at you, no matter how good you play. It gets way better when you're getting out of silver, there are still toxic people, usually around one per match, but it works fine if you just tell them to stop messing around and only talk when it's helpful for the team

Learn to use nades right, keep track of them (listen to peoples callouts and watch minimap). If you know where they are or around you can throw in a decent flash or smoke and place yourself in better position :)

I also hate teams that instantly kick you after 1 mistake. For example, I was playing on dust 2 and just won a 1v4 but in the warmup I messed around with my settings and my "use" key was bound to nothing so I could not defuse the bomb in time. One thing I've noticed is that trying to come up with your own smokes can sometimes be more helpful. Not only do I found myself remembering them more often but while you look for the good angle you'll also learn how the nades fly which makes it easier to throw good smokes even if you don't have time to set up for the throw. Also everyone should try to learn to pop flash for a friend. Makes it easy to win games in silver

When you do good callouts, players would not care about your voice (at least players that care about the game) . They will care about the info you are giving to them. I am a Silver personally and still need to learn a lot about the game but when I play, i use the micro because I know my teamm8 will apreciate tge callouts. Improves a lot your gamestyle.

Play with better players is very important. When I started playing CSGO I was pretty bad but one of my older friends who played this game for years gave me tipps, explained the movement in CS etc. I learned many things from him. He also invited me, as a silver 3 or 4 player, to play with his master guardian 2 friends (but they played with their 2. acc so the enemies were just Gold 3). Of course I got carried around and I didn't got that many kills but I improved very quickly.

1. Know how spray patterns work: not just spraying but understanding where they land so you can spray even if the enemy is moving. 2. Crosshair placement: this will help you not having to snap your crosshair all the way to the other side. 3. Sound: STOP RUNNING IF NOT NECESSARY. 4. Game sense: understand the map and understand where people might come. 5. Use utility: grenades will save you ammunition, smokes will give you some coverage, flash so you have better advantage. 6. Stop picking awp: if your not good with it then stop and pick something your actually decent. If you wanna be better with awp then of course practice with it. Aiming and timing should be mandatory. 7. Positioning: please dont run around in the open.

I barely keep Master Guardian 1 and thought I'm the worst player, though I love the game as an actual CS 1.6 veteran, but then I found out there is Silver, etc. As a comparison to LoL (nightmarish as it is, I still play that as well) MG1 is considered to be as much as G1-2 in LoL, so I feel fine about it, but as I watched this video - yep, I do suck at this game regularly.
