@@ionuttoma6028 I open a lot of boxes, so that's a big one for me. I also use it as a quick and simple way to open mail, cut zip ties, rope, etc. Day to day stuff. I have learned over the years that three most useful items if ever had are my folding knife, pocket knife, and a belt. I know what you're thinking "A belt??" Yes, one time I got stuck out in the woods and my belt came in handy to choke out a freaking bear!! And on too of that. I used it to replace my cambelt in my truck temporarily to drive to the auto shop. Another use for my belt was to climb the side of a rock, and some trees. Belts are underated

Here, knives are banned if the combined lengthier blade and heft is longer dan 20cm and it can’t be automatic, you also need to be older than 18. Luckily guns are banned but some young people started using knifes and although way less deadly than guns it started getting out of hand.

The little pocket inside of the larger pocket was designed for pocket watches. Since most men that wore dungarees way back when were farmers, and blue-collar workers, their pocket watches needed to be protected from tools and such that were carried in a pocket. So, the pocket within the pocket was created.

Even around my house (and yard) I use my multitool (cheap BIBURY 21 in 1) multiple times a week. Seems weird to carry gun around your house but think if a criminal breaks in and catches you by surprise, your gun is on you. Don't have to run to another room to get it. Same with knife for defensive use in such case, if he goes for your gun. I also carry pepper spray (2 oz. bottle of FOX Five Point Three). I1R2 light clipped to my zipper. I like items with multiple uses, so I also have a Victorinox RangerGrip 58. The BIBURY multitool is just a cheap test multitool, and seeing if I really want to spend more on a better quality one in future. I don't carry them on me around the house, but I always keep safety glasses handy, even for when I'm cooking. Two times this week I was cooking and some hot oil spattered up on my cheek. Thankfully I wear those safety glasses while cooking. Hot oil in the eye would not be fun to deal with. I wear them when chopping wood, dragging piles of branches out of the woods, etc. I suggest people buy safety glasses for many uses. You'll thank me later when they save you from going blind by something you never expected to hit you in the eye! 😉

I used to call it the Zippo pocket too back when i smoked cigarettes, nowadays i only smoke cigars but doesn't use a Zippo anymore. Not because of the whole "you're not supposed to use a Zippo for cigars" thing, there's just been shortages in fuel, wicks, flints etc etc for a while now so a torch lighter is more convenient
@KD-mm3li2 жыл бұрын
The lighter situation…. I useto have a lighterbro which was this milti tool kinda thing you could slide a bic lighter into and had a small knife, poker, and a pair of scissors. Very low profile adding baerly any thicknessto a standard bic lighter. But seeing the zippo you got made me get one too. A kind of Noir black with 1920s Zippo Design. I sanded off all the matte black to have the brass show. And went in with a dremel engraving the design allready there into the case. And of course with the dual jet butane insert. It just feels so right. 🤌🤌🤌 Patina

Great video, I always carry a pocket knife and a mechanical watch. I bought a Swiss Army Outrider when they first came out in like 1989, the blade isn't even the factory shape anymore from use and sharpening. My watch is a Citizen Promaster Automatic, it just suits the purpose. I started Scuba Diving in 1983 and between the Seiko and the Citizen I chose the Citizen because of it's deeper depth rating of 200M/660ft vs the Seiko's 150ft. Agree with you on all the items you showed us today. Take care, cheers from Canada (and Cuban cigars) - Dave #Clocks&Colours

Always enjoy your videos! I’m from the U.K. (London) and we have such strict laws on knives. Everything that you showed wouldn’t be able to be carried on your person, but you could have it in your house for private use. The only pocket knife you can realistically carry with you is a Swiss Army knife, because it’s a small blade and doesn’t lock. We do have quite a big problem with knife crime though, so it makes sense to me

4:13 Yeah! Here in the UK, you May carry a simple folding blade pocket knife with a blade LESS THAN 3 inches, but not a lock-blade of ANY sort, PROVIDED you can prove that you have a valid (their rules) reason for carrying it, at that time, in that place! The burden is on the carrier to prove this. If not satisfactory, you WILL be arrested and charged. They are very serious about this! Shops selling knives (even kitchen knives) may not have them on display in a retail area either! Only a picture, and then upon purchase, they will package the item for return to your home. I often feel a bit naked without my SAK!
