Your parents must be so proud to have such a successful son , Very few have straight 9s and 4A* and commit to KZbin , Gym , good work experience and social life like you do . People who have exceptional grades e.g 11 9s at gcse , 4+ A* at A are usually a study type (not necessarily a bad thing) .The way you plan your future such as choosing bath over imperial despite the prestige is outstanding for someone your age and should be commended

Its become a running joke in my maths class that I always ask questions, even the stupid ones and everyone (including the teacher) laughs about it. Definitely makes me feel a little bit dumb and embarrassed but at the end of the day most people have the exact same question :)
@jscottbarate24023 жыл бұрын
Honestly there is nothing to be embarrassed and it’s poor that the teacher is laughing, I’m always trying to compete with this one girl and she asks loads of questions in class and always does the best A*s. We go to school to learn dont feel embarrassed for doing something that people are afraid of doing.
@purefoo7ball5223 жыл бұрын
The people who ask the most questions are usually the ones who know the best. Had a friend who would ask questions constantly in maths and ended up getting higher than 97% on all of his maths tests from year 10 on. Questions are just a way to find out as much knowledge as you can. Also the teahcer is an idiot for laughing at you.

Hiya! I've been wondering, if I go to a mediocre to kinda rubbish school, with teachers that whip up a KZbin video, can I still do well in my a levels? Or should I go to a better sixth form, the problem is they are all so far away, is it mostly the work that students put in or do teachers play a role too
@JakeClarke3 жыл бұрын
It’s mostly the work you put in at home. Ofcourse the classroom helps massively but if you have the discipline you can learn it all with the revision guides and still smash the exams :)

POV: me, a Y11 student Confident in getting 8-9 9s in GCSE, just like Jake But, I am taking 13 GCSEs 🥲(the rest are prob 8+, can get few more 9s at the end if I work hard enough)… lol BTW, cue cards are great, but not necessarily work for all subjects. I recommend structure your revision notes according to the structure of the exam for subjects like History instead of generally remembering facts.
