The thing I hate about my hair transplant is that after my procedure I became obsessed with hair and wanting good results. I spend countless hours in the mirror and I take pics often. Its been a year and although my results are decent and light miles away from where I used to be, I was hoping for more density. I now am in the process of setting up a 2nd one and I hope that'll be all I need.

My clinic advised me to wash gently every day for the first 12 days before removing the scabs. I guess you could use apply a spray every 30 mintues, but that would probably be the same amount throughout the day as doing 1 wash in the evening. So to each their own i guess, but not washing your hair for the first 3 days is wild to me as you'll have alot of blood tricking down your head if you dont!

Just a note to say that it's been about 5 months since I had the procedure done and I'm very thankful I did it. I don't like seeing pictures of what a scalp looks like after the procedure and I'm glad I requested that my long hair (past my shoulders) not be cut. It made the work harder for the doctor and his staff but I appreciated it. After the procedure, I couldn't see what my scalp looked like; I think it would have freaked me out. Also, since I usually wore a hat or cap, no one was aware of what I had done. If I had my head shaved, there's no way I could have kept it a secret. Anyway, it slowly grew in and these days I don't wear a hat or cap. If anything, I wish I had done it sooner. Best wishes to anyone who's contemplating a transplant.

welcome to the channel! you're in for some really informative videos about a hair transplant! If you have hte time and effort to record yourself, then go for it. i did that on the side and got the clinic to record me as i had reached out them much earlier and because i already had this channel, it was easier for them to agree!

Congrats on the hair work, you look much better. The only thing I don't like, and a lot of doctors do this, is make the hairline straight across. It makes me wonder it the guy is wearing a toupee or had transplants. Natural hairlines are seldom a straight line across. Of course, a different hairstyle can cover up the hairline. If you want to comb your hair straight back, I'd tell the doctor to make it a bit more natural looking. For you, it was obviously still well worth it, so once again congrats!

I hate the fact that I can identify hair transplants which is something I couldn't or even wouldn't have been looking for before researching and undergoing one. @brockhampton3078 @brockhampton3078 this is precisely what I'm saying and it's actually true that people who haven't had one or haven't had some experience with them can't see the things you come to notice following research and undergoing one. Essentially you look and see the illusion created, but nobody else or not very many people notice what you do. The fue scars, lack of density, the hairline and overall appearance is just not real and you spot these things.
@amitposthair10 ай бұрын

@brockhampton3078 fue scars, the lack of density... there's something perfect in terms of coverage, but not quite right. The good thing is that only yourself or other people in the know will even potentially spot this. Ultimately, it looks way better and that's the thing to hold on to. The fact is you'll always want that little bit more and forget where you came from. Smp is a nice finishing touch, but again you'll spot it and worry others will plus it needs refreshing every 5 years. It's a battle in your mind before during and after.

Greetings Amit, I’m using happy head topical. Minox and finas together. I’m 5 months post op from Vera clinic. Great results. Are you applying the topical to your transplanted hair? I was instructed by them to apply to my crown, since transplanted hair is in front only.

i have a question bro is it possible to use a hair fiber just to cover up some bald spot after hair transplant? 2nd question bro is it okay to wear a hat during the ugly duckling period ? Im just worried in this stage because i am working. thank you from Philippines
@amitposthair5 ай бұрын
yes 100%! i recommend using fibres a lot and using it to cover up bald spots after a hair transplant is still fine and yes wearing a hat during the ugly duckling phase is completely normal and ok, dont worry!

I want to lower my hairline only (i'm a woman with no hair loss but need 1500 grafts to lower hairline) but i'm afraid of not being able to sleep and the itchiness of the scalp. On what day did you return to work? Also, if donor area doesn't grow back then how do people with more hair loss not look bald in these donor areas after transplant? I think the hairline should have softer, thinner hair (like baby hairs) but since all donor hairs come from the back the hair is thicker so i wonder if everyone's hairline is covered in thicker hair...making it look slightly unnatural looking and course.

Can you sleep on your back if you don't get any hairs transplanted on your crown?
@amitposthair9 ай бұрын
you can but its still best to stay upright as it helps with bloodflow stay on the top of your scalp rather than being pushed downwards if that makes sense

Hi I've made a hair transplant in Turkey, 1 week ago.After how many days is normal to go on sun for short and long time? Do you made some PRPs after hair transplant (not the first one who made thay).Do you take some extra shampoos set and vitamines from hospital, they want from me to take it ,it was 300 e for 6 months.Is it necessary or I can take on my own .Thanks
@amitposthair9 ай бұрын
you can go out in the sun after about 2 weeks. But just dont stay out in the sun too long or else you scalp can get some irrtation from the heat. I did not do any PRP as I felt i did not need it. And yes i take plenty of vitamins and shampoos but not from the clinics. All the stuff i use is in the description of the video!

you should start using it on your donor area and then once your transplanted hairs grow out a little after about 4-5 months you can use it on the scalp after

What, you know that Finasteride was developed originally to help against prostate cancer by minimizing testosterone production. The positive side effect of this was also better hair growth.

Talk to your doctor about zolpidem. It may help you sleep after a transplant. Regular zolpidem will likely keep you out for 4-5 hours, at least. Extended release version will keep you out all night. Again, check with your doctor first.

Why did you decide to lie about revita shampoo on their ads making it look like you gained density and regrowth just from the shampoo and not even mention the ht. Shady dude
@amitposthair9 ай бұрын
hey man! any ads you see for the shampoo that was was posted by me is not edited by me personally, as the company has the rights to use my clips because we partnered together, so I have no control on how they depict their ads to their target audience. for myself however, i do disclose I had a hair transplant in my video descriptions and comments and that the shampoo does contribute to my overall results (which i still believe is true), together with other supplements I take.

I've watched several of his videos, maybe I missed it or he didn't mention it but... what research lead him to Veri Clinic in Turkey vs so many other clinics in Turkey or, other parts of the globe like India, Asia etc. Watching other KZbin videos from clinics in USA they advise to NOT go to Turkey etc as many are just a money-grab-clinics without the expertise or stringent standards and your results can be botched with very poor results and zero support.
@amitposthair5 ай бұрын
im doing a more in depth video about this! but the gist of it was that i spoke to the a bunch of people who had gone there before, and youtube as well. Also spoke to the clinic with TONS of questions before making my decision. It was extensive! I chose Turkey ultiamtely because of cost, and knew that they had proven results.
