Nice video... some interesting tips I was not aware of (Gif trimming and removal of desktop items for screen recording). Should have also mentioned that it's also part of Setapp. So for me it was a no-brainer to install and use!

I have always wondered how people do screen recording (that they zoom in and out, highlight etc) and video of themselves at the same time (and your mini screen moves too, how do you do it?), is there an easy option to do it or is it a lot of editing in Final Cut Pro?

If CSX does not record audio (from what is being displayed from the computer screen), than it seems the native mac apps (screen shot + preview tools) can do the same stuff essentially. Not sure the cost is worth the minor improvements, again, withOUT screen recording audio.

I don’t like subscriptions or quasi subscriptions. The cloud option is straightforward, but the main product included updates for a year and then 19 bucks for another year of updates. That is a subscription. I guess you can use it without updates, but these are updates not upgrades.

and here;'s one thing i HATE about it, and i own it.... clean shot x CANNOT follow your screen, your capture area while recording, so why is this the best screen recorder? a very basic , necessary function, move your window, and it records what was behind it, your desktop, brilliant, lol
