Your summary is *exactly* how I feel about the Vision Pro. I would love to see more first-party video apps (Prime, Netflix, and KZbin notably), and I think hand controllers are just an essential for any real gaming. Fingers crossed it continues to evolve though it does seem glacial at this juncture. Anyway, thanks for this amazing perspective.

did you say that vision pro is the industry leading headset? where did you get the data from? is it from sales per unit of all vrs available?

It's no way most of these KZbinrs are using the apps and devices as much as they claim, because every two weeks they introduce a new one that is their new "daily driver."

I’m new to things 3 so trying to acclimate. At 4:08 you pulled up what looked like a menu to get into your calendar view. How can I do this on my respective devices? I have things on all three of my devices btw. Thanks.

Subscriptions are kinda amazing when previously you had to pay thousands of dollars for some software that eventually you’ll have to buy again once it became outdated.

The only problem is that starting a new line is $25/mo, while older lines are $30, and there's no way to get on the $25 without ending and then restarting a new service.

To make such a helpful (yet easily forgettable) video and NOT include a downloadable list of the shortcut keys is just tragic. You can't fault the man (since he still put the time and effort into creating this), but if I was to make a video like this. It'd be a no brainer for me to AT LEAST type out some of the shortcuts in the description. Bare minimum. I'll definitely be making a downloadable list of my own for other people to benefit from.

Steps to sync Mac and iPhone. It'll be necessary to migrate data: 1. Create a new Vault on iPhone or iPad app. It will be created on \iCloud\Obsidian\<vault-name-folder> 2. Copy files from your Mac created vault to the one created on iOS.

I switched to the ASUS PG32UCDM and never looked back. Why? Aside from the pixel density the Studio Display had bad uniformity, and light leakage. Could not switch inputs, since I use a Mac, gaming pc, Apple TV and console. My own camera was better quality and the monitor allows audio pass through for external speakers for various inputs. The perfect black levels that come with OLED makes the pixel density of the studio display not something I’m missing.

I have two 2018 mac minis running as servers. They are currently running MacOS Ventura. They provide file storage and various other services. Both have 64GB of RAM and are running OpenZFS. Both systems have 32TB of storage running in RAIDZ3 configurations using Thunderbolt 3. They have been extremely reliable. The storage is reasonably quick for my purposes. The only real limiter is the Minis only have 1GB networking ports. I could probably add additional networking ports, but they work well enough as they are for my purposes. I bought them both used at very reasonable prices and upgraded the RAM pretty inexpensively to make sure they'd do a decent job with OpenZFS. I think they are quite power efficient, reliable, and useful. I may try to convert one to run Debian, I'm just now sure how well that will go, and those sort of things take time. I do use Backblaze for offsite backup. Thanks for the video.

LOL, it's amazing what Apple still manages to milk from its fan base, over 2000 USD for an 24 inch LCD display, it doesn't matter how much PPIs or etc we are talking about, nowaday is a ridiculous amount of money and even more amazing is how the fan base is triggered if an intelligent guy dares to point out that

Visible is great until you have a problem, then your only path to correction is via the internet... from some one in India in a call center. My wife had her phone number stolen / lost after 4 months on this service and they were absolutely no help in getting it back. Yes, Visible is part of Verizon, but if you go into a store for help, they say there is nothing they can do to help you. So, yes the service is cheaper than others (Boost is starting the same $25 / line forever service, but again internet contact only). If nothing ever goes wrong, then you should be good with Visible, but, if something messes up, you are screwed.
