Hey Matt, great video! I'm a fellow R owner, love the car, but like some owners, make modifications to personalize it for our tastes. I hated the yellow indicators lenses, so switched to clear. Added automatic lights, metal glove box handle, extra storage in dash and under seats, installed boost gauge, puddle lights to side mirrors, backup camera, navigation, auto dimming mirror and a front camera to avoid damaging chin. All of these things, I feel should have been factory, but hey, they got to give us something to personalize and mod! Looking forward for more videos in the future it's great to see you recovering from your shoulder injury.

Dude the best thing about the 6R is the traction from the haldex 4 motion drivetrain making it a all year all weather and all conditions that gives you the power and performance in rain snow or sunshine. To make the point. Race a BMW 135i or 235i in good weather and then do it in heavy rain and just see how much difference in performance the BMW has with rwd. The extra power it’s got has no effect on the performance in bad weather. Your golf has no such problems

Man those seats are killer. They look like jet fighter seats, so much better looking than the couch type seats in the mk7.

In the UK there is a huge problem with these and other cars going missing with thieves using a transponder that picks up the signal from your 'keyless' entry and sends that signal to a receiver box that passes the message/code to the car, making the car thinks you are trying to get into your car, then push-button start and your car is gone and they didn't even need to enter your home to get the keys... :( - Is there a way to disable that feature or install a fuel cutoff switch somewhere?

fairvsfree the rotors and pads are aftermarket, but the caliper and overall brake size is stock.

When you said for everyday driving this car brakes quickly you meant the use of break to stop or it is Inconvenient for everyday drive

No he was right brake is for stopping, break is what you would use to say that the car is unreliable as in: “this car keeps breaking”

'13 2-door in Rising Blue. I'm 6'5" with 36-37" inseam. I have to slide my feet one at a time between the pedals to stretch clear out, which I frankly have to do in about anything I drive. The seating geometry is great & I love this car!
