10 Things I wish I knew BEFORE playing DISNEY DREAMLIGHT VALLEY// TIPS FOR NEW PLAYERS

In today's video we discuss 10 things for new players or players still in early gameplay, I wish I knew! I made SOOOO many mistakes on my last save of DDLV, So on this second play and restart I mentioned on my previous video, I'm making sure I don't repeat my mistakes!!! Feel free to leave your tips and advice in the comment section below, of things I may have not mentioned in today's video. This video is NOT highlighting the features of the new update we just got, but specifically things only new players can do/access, many of the updates features are further into the story which isn't what I'm focusing on in today's video. I will touch base on the update and my thoughts in a future video

🛑When talking about onions in my video, it seems my audio got cut a tad when I was editing. oops! onions take 1 hr AND 15 min to grow. its still worth farming while you wait for pumpkins if You're in a rush for star coins. 🛑

When digging plots for your crops, you can hold your shovel button down and it will automatically continue digging in a line. No need to line up each dig.

Look closely at the critters tab of the collection menu. It will show you what animals are going to show up in each biome and if they are going to be there all day or for a shorter time.

Excellent advice. I'd also add that checking the Village quests is also worthwhile as many provide hidden rewards.

I would have to agree that these are definitely 10 things that I would tell a new player when they start. Matter of fact my wife recently started and several of these I just threw at her lol before she even understood what I was talking about. I immediately told her as soon as her Wells unlocked move your wells!! Great video and great information

@@horriblegamingofficial agreed! Luckily most of these mistakes just have to do more with time saving whether it's streamlining the process or having enough materials for quest. So easy enough to recover with the right amount of time. But definitely would have made early game a little harder in terms of gathering more stuff but made in late game would be so so much easier LOL

If you're positioned right, you can water up to 7 crops at once.

Something I have to add is make ALL your friends mining companions, you make money super easy with the gems, level friendships and you get tons of resources

Berry salad with 3 gooseberries is a great and cheap way to get a bar and a third of energy.

I just unlocked Forest of Valor today and I've already invited Moana. Pretty sure I'm doing things out of order lol. I will need to relocate houses because I need room for gardening. I will try to put trees in one area like you.

Honestly there's no set order to do them. You're doing great! One of my followers mentioned you could also get away with just 3 trees in the biome. Im too lazy though rn to remove the others 💀😂

omg thank god the tiny plaza tree drops both softwood and hardwood in those 3 biomes!!!!! the first time I played through, I fucked up and deleted ALLL trees, and absolutely no wood was spawning for days. and I time travelled and that fucked up my herbs respawn. nothing would respawn. so I decided to restart my game lol. for now, i moved the trees all along the edge. it's still annoying tho cos they take up so much space!!!! so now I've learnt you can just make a mini plaza tree area for the wood spawn.

I like having 4 trees for my wood farms in each Biome.

I understand you only need 3 trees in each biome. No biome has more than 20 wood (a little less in Plaza and Meadow) on the ground before it stops spawning until some are collected - and each tree can only be surrounded by 8 pieces. So 2 trees only spawn 16, so a third brings the extra 4 pieces. Also, planting crops in the biome they are available in has them grow 15 percent faster.

Hey!, Need help. 😆 I've tried finding videos about it but no luck. Have you had failed crops? I have some that are in the stage before they get watered and they are stuck in that mode. Have you had this issue of so please lmk what I should do

Its hard to compare both games cause they are so different. I personally have been LOVING it, the devs are really listening to the community. There are things ACNH can do that this game cant. If you like cozy farm simulation and decorating then you may Like it. The games still in early access but they are adding lots of content and multiplayer

Did you get the founders pack again when you restarted? And then new star path? I started a new game because of gltches & everything is running smoothly, but theres nothing in my mailbox & no tab for the star path in the menu.

Star path wont unlock until you progress the beginner stuff. I didnt see it until some point when i re unlocked the castle. All my stuff was in my inventory on the reset thats how i had my incredibles squirrel still. I believe it was because I cloud saved my stuff. I even had some of the new halloween star path items redeemed in my invo. As for founders pack, i actually never got it . i didnt want anything from it.

just know itll be the base game thats free, Not the dlc packs or future updates that **may cost** ,imo its worth it, early access users get goodies later on people wont.

Nope! I was pleasantly surprised to see my incredibles squirrel and raccoon i redeemed before my reset in my companions tab and immediately following me after meeting Merlin again. I had all my Pixar fest stuff too. I believe its because I cloud Saved.

@@Caliboo87 im honestly enjoying my reset for the same reasons. Im enjoying NOT rushing to do all the quests. I didnt get to finish alot though last game because well, my save legit was corrupted lol but still i felt like I rushed many of the quests and I refuse to get burnt out on this like with ACNH because I was wanting to be done or the first one finished etc lol I dont see any other reason why I would have those items still I didnt care much for the Pixar fest but it was a nice surprise for sure. I wont complain!

I think you can only have 1 of the new pumpkin items. I went to order more stacked pumpkins and couldn’t :(

Hmm thats odd, i was able to order more than one! but it wasnt the stacked pumpkins.

Stacked pumpkins were a Village quest reward for gifting your characters 10 gifts. You can also win the purple treat bucket, a Mickey shaped pumpkin, and three other Jack o'lanterns from Village event quests by making and eating 45 candy. Youll get a new jack o lantern for each 15 candies you eat! You cannot order more of these rewards. You CAN order the pumpkin with the Mickey face cutout once you get it from starpath event. You can also order more Coffin benches, well of souls and the cute spooky couch. Hope this helps!

@@horriblegamingofficial You'll still have so much fun! I've done two festival areas so far. One in the plaza, and another by my house in the forest. The spider web tree is so good! The spider web motif makes some gorgeous dresses, too. Have a blast.

For trees in the biomes you only need 6 not 10.

You actually can use 3 trees only! And they will replenish quickly. This is an older video of mine and at the time I was still learning things.

Im still playing acnh and sharing it, I did a video 6 days ago and plan to share acnh weekly a couple times..but sadly yes, Acnh IS dying. I hate nintendo abandoned it and many other creators feel this way too :/ very few creators are still sharing it nowadays. Im one of the few who are still playing it weekly. It makes me sad but it is the way it is. DDLV is a very fun game and new so yes of course many people will choose to play a new game that has many updates planned over one that isnt getting anymore. The acnh community is burnt out and it sucks majorly for viewers and for content creators. Both parties hate for it to be this way.
