10 Things Introverts Are Extremely Obsessed About. Introverts may seem fine with everything they have as they usually don't express their preferences. However, their needs and wants are actually more specific than others. If you want to spark an introvert's interest, here are ten things they are extremely obsessed about.
Have you tried being ridiculed because people can't relate to what you're talking about? Well, as someone who only selectively comments, introverts have enough time to think carefully about what to say. Introverts are the ones who merely sit back and observe where arguments go. Surprisingly, it urges them to formulate underrated, unconventional, yet accurate statements. Introverts are obsessed with thinking differently. Although thinking "differently" does not often lead to good results, introverts just compulsively seek ways to get out of the box. This is why a lot of people think they are wrong or mistaken. An introvert's obsession with hearing and generating unconventional statements has been a part of their lives. When people are still at the start of a debate, introverts have already reached a conclusion.

@@victorcontreras9138 That was likely just a shy person. Shy people yearn for interpersonal, social, interaction and being part of a herd, but are afraid to approach others for fear of rejection. Introverts require no interpersonal, social, interaction, nor being part of a herd. Introverts require only to be left alone.

This is so true. I wonder how people know so much about us? I am always reading all sort of books being on my own, don't like crowds. Yes I like movies and often goes to the cinema on my own ' yes I like nature and to watch a beautiful sunset.

I still like fairytales, Disney, princesses, sci-fi yes but not crime related movies, k-dramas sometimes. Yup love road trips and nature or just biking in the park. I don't 'explode' tho.... I'm calm. I think before I respond most of the time so I won't be tactless. My emotions are intact and well aware of what, how I feel. . . Well, can't explain some feelings about some things right away but eventually do... I've learned and still learning to adapt well with people and situations...I'm learning in social media. im happy doing hobbies and projects and musiiic! 😊

I used to relate more to the lifestyle of an introvert when I was younger but have since "grown out"of that. While some of the behavior mention here sounds ideal and normal, I will say that it can also be indicative of problems. When I started going to Alcoholic Anonymous, one of the questions asked was: Do you often drink alone? I answered YES!

Most introverts do not partake of socially accepted drugs, as they are never social. I have never partaken of alcohol, tabacco byproducts, nor illegal drugs. I believe the main reason is because I do not socialise and therefore care little about peer pressures that most, "normals," are desperate to satisfy so as to not appear different nor antisocial. Introverts do not care what others think of them. Social pressures have very little effect on us.

A specialist that treats that behavior said (oddly enough) that it was a form of "selfishness". Perhaps, because in Spanish we say: El no se PRESTA. Meaning that he doesn't LEND himself because he keeps to himself! A girl I really liked left me because I was so quiet and boring. Those who feel that they must adjust to satisfy peer pressure are usually the young and immature. I'm 75. I sure wanted change and through self confidence, I did change and am much happier now😁."Different strokes"and if you are content, then more power to you, my friend. @@victorcontreras9138 I lived as a social person until 2000. The benefits were few. The negatives were many. 8 August 2000, I socially isolated. I will be 51 years of age in four months. I have never known such peace, self reliance, independence, freedom, and productivity as I have the last 22 years. There are some negatives to living socially isolated. However, the benefits dwarf the negatives. I may have no friends, no girlfriend. But the gains I have made I could have never made as a social person.

@@Bob_1900 The unfortunate thing is that the indoctrination that humans must herd up to succeed, even to survive, is drilled into our heads since birth. The indoctrination is not true. There are many that live very successfully with nobody in their lives. The powers that be hate them. They want all the people in clusters so they can look over them and keep them controlled. This is the only reason I can think of as to why the social agenda is pushed so hard.

Greetings and felicitations, fellow introvert. I enjoy Stanley Kubrick movies, rural outdoor wildlife, hiking, and investing in metals, but do so completely alone. I also enjoy challenging off road areas to take my vintage Jeep, swimming, and keeping fit. The beauty of being an introvert is we never have to find anybody like ourselves because we care not to have friends, nor even a social life. Thus, all of us can be extremely different. We do not herd together like the, "normals," of like interests. We do not herd at all.
