I was a little surprised with how WWE handled Gail Kim. It seemed very clear that she was the next big thing in women's wrestling; she had the look, the talent, and the aggression. When Sable and Chyna did Playboy back in the late 90's the WWF "Vince" played that shit up like it was the biggest thing that ever happened for the company and they mentioned both of their appearances in PB during TV broadcasts except for PPV's. Sables PB issue was PB's best selling monthly issue of the 90's and one of their best selling since their hayday in the late 70's as far as PB's magazine circulation went. Stephanie is trying to be a feminist but she aint. Vince, Shane'O, Steph and HHH could never be stars but they did try hard and were willing to do anything to become a star, even bury the real stars. The only smart person with real courage was the old lady Linda who hopped into her own lane and stayed of WWE tv for the most part. It didnt work out for them, WWE was better prior to the merge and the wrestling world was better when there were multiple promotions. Even the top stuff becomes boring when there are no other options.

What Lita did was definitely wrong, i am not denying that.But it was Matt Hardys doing that led to the situation becoming public knowledge and leading into a story line that eventually got him fired. He put the whole incident on blast on the internet at a time in wrestling where kayfabe was very much still alive. It was still very taboo and not done in those days to mix your personal life with your job in the WWE (then WWF). And again while what Amy Dumas did was awful it still doesnt change the fact that she was practically the only female wrestler that could actually wrestle. What she did years ago should not change the fact that she is a legend and did a lot for womens wrestling. There was plenty of other shady ass shit going on backstage at that time that we didnt know about, because again it just wasn't done. I mean for christ sakes more people know about the Lita-Edge-Matt Hardy triangle then they do about the fact HHH cheated on his real life gf Chyna with Stephanie Mcmahon and once Chyna found out they fired her the same day OVER A FAX! Plus Matt Hardy is insanely happy today. He is happily married with two kids and is in another current successfully run in the WWE. He even made a video years ago talking about how him and Lita are friends to this day. Again all im saying is what she did was wrong but it should never have been brought into her work life. Chyna was not fired. Watch the Off the Record interview she gave in 2001. Chyna was offered a new contract, but demanded more money, and JR later said that the money she demanded was unreasonable. Chyna then walked away from the WWE and later said she regretted doing so. And as for Lita, she did mess up, but it takes 2 to tango and Edge is just as guilty over the affair as she was. Plus, for Lita to have cheated on Matt after all those years makes me wonder if everything was truly perfect between her and Matt at that time. One of the most common reasons people cheat on their partner is because they are missing something in their current relationship. And as we have seen since, Matt Hardy is not a perfect man. He has had alcohol issues, drug issues, and had a real fight with his wife, Reby, in the early years of their marriage. I'm not saying that cheating is alright, but people really need to get off Lita's ass over the whole thing and try to put themselves in her shoes, or stop putting the blame entirely on her while Edge is spared from any harsh criticism.

I’m pretty sure AJ Lee left on good terms if I’m not mistaking. What a majority of wrestling fans simply don’t understand is that she wasn’t going to leave just because Punk was gonna leave in fact she stayed for year after Punk’s departure from WWE, and held the divas title twice the same year her husband left the company which was a smart move by the company how amazingly pushed she was and hell she won diva of the year. So I give her a lot of credit for managing and persevering all the stress that was put in her way but essentially she decided to retire cause she stated in her book that she felt like a child in the middle of a divorce with all the Punk crap going on, she suffered a permanent neck injury that would cause her to never wrestle again, and she felt very accomplished on all her goals she set out to do years back before she joined WWE so if you think about it realistically she would’ve been retired regardless if she wasn’t married to Punk. So with that being said I don’t think she really hates Stephanie McMahon, she was just concerned of how women in WWE were all treated cause she had a heart on the women’s division so much so that the hashtag give divas a chance contributed into women being the main event of today all thanks to her. She actually is proud how women are received today in WWE, so hating on Stephanie McMahon wouldn’t really make any sense, however there’s numerous reports of the two hating eachother but neither is confirmed by themselves although AJ always looked up to Stephanie and probably still respects her to this day. Although AJ is pretty busy with being an author, and doing charity related stuff these days, she does believe in Never say Never on a possible future WWE return, so it’s likely possible we’ll see her in a WWE ring sometime in the future plus she views wrestling different than what Punk views wrestling as, her heart will have a special place in WWE.

I don’t think it’s fair to blame the Lita thing on Stephanie. WWE creative, in the past, has taken real life things way off kilter when translated to the ring. The real life aspect of canoodling like that should been looked at as off limits. The reason why is because even though most fans know wrestling is choreographed, you’ve got a beloved baby face who’s betrayed by a Diva face, but to have it actually happen in real life and then you turn around and play it out for fans nearly the way it happened? The divas of the early 2000s were gorgeous, but I much prefer the women that could actually wrestle. It was embarrassing to see some of them in the ring. When you saw someone good like Gail Kim, it made you wish that all of the women were closer to that level of wrestling. More wrestling, less diva photo shoots.
