I think I was 16 or 17 when I met him at Toys R Us, and he was on the phone with Samantha, talking about what to get their daughter for Christmas. I didn’t want to miss the opportunity to get a picture so I stood by and waited, watching him 🙈🙈 I kind of regret doing that BECAUSE it was creepy, but he didn’t say anything about it; he let me get two pictures before he left. When I saw him at my church, he was in a really good mood. When I approached him, I asked him if he remembered me. He said yeah, but I’m not sure if he actually did lol. Anyway, I didn’t ask for a picture, but I told him that my brother liked him and he let my brother take a picture with him 😊)

I met Rey Mysterio at an I-hop in Memphis. My wife and I were just finishing our meal, and he had just walked in and been seated. I casually walked over and spoke quietly because I figured most people don't actually know what he looks like without his mask. (I actually recognised his tattoos initially) I basically said "excuse me, I'm a big fan, it's really nice to meet you. I have tickets to tonight's event, and I'm looking forward to the show tonight. Enjoy your meal and welcome to Memphis." As we left, we noticed MVP sitting in a car. I spoke to him, and he even accepted one of my CD's. They were both really cool. I suspect most would be as long as you approach them respectfully. R-Truth actually stayed at a hotel I was the assistant manager at. I've had the chance to meet some WWE/WCW wrestlers over the years. One superstar I wanted to meet was Seth Rollins. Rather than getting to meet fans at the airport or stop to take pics, he just went straight to the car Rental stand to get his rental and left fans disappointed. Another superstar who was a shock was Alicia Fox, same instance as the Rollins incident, I was meeting with Rosa Mendez and was about to get a photo with Mendez, as she did consent to a photo, however Fox interrupted and pulled Mendez away. She then began speaking for Mendez saying Mendez does not take pics with fans and she pulled Mendez away. Since then, whenever a WWE event comes to El Paso and they're on the card, I steer clear of them. To end on a positive note, one superstar who was AWESOME to meet with fans was BRAY WYATT, as he was entering the airport fans went up to him and he said, "Alright everyone, give me a chance to go get my luggage and I'll take pics with everyone." He did just that

I worked as a referee for quite a while, and I got on well with the wrestlers one on one, but I wouldn't hang around after the shows in a crowd, because I don't do well in crowds. I don't blame Randy at all for what happened in the gym. "Martin" shouldn't have even interrupted him at all during his workout and even after he did that Orton still gave him a fist bump. He didn't need to take the photo.

@bryon jackson back in the day, Randy would work out with his fans if there happened to be some of them at the same gym he was working out at. I think fans becoming more aggressive and not accepting that sometimes he needs his alone time is what caused him to no longer want to work out with fans or be bothered at the gym.

There was a wwe event in Roanoke VA so Obviously I went. Afterwards my family and I went to get some food at Applebee's and some of the superstars had the same idea. There, I met Batista, donning some pink golf shorts and a white sweater, Rey Mysterio in a nice leather jacket still in his mask enjoying a Modelo, and finally, The Miz, John Morrison and, CM Punk sitting at a table. They were enjoying their meal. I wasn't going to be rude and interrupt their dinner, so I waited patiently for them to finish. They had finished eating and we're just chatting up before paying their bill so, I approached them. At the time, Punk was a Heel BUT I was still a fan of his. Let's just say he's a dick 24/7. I was soon berated before even opening my mouth to say a word by Punk. The other four heard him and instead took pictures and stuff with me, Batista even bought me a drink. After, Morrison scolded Punk saying, "Wow you actually have a fan and THAT'S how you treat him? Youre not in the ring anymore dude." Never did get a picture with him but it's whatever. Also met the Great Khali in a nice ass Armani suit. I'm 6foot8 and this guy was still towering over me.

I was at the Knight Center in Miami Florida in the late 80's I had found a set of car keys on the floor and brought them to the guys taking down the ring after a NWA event, they turned out being Rick Flair's keys and he was goin nuts trying to find them, he came out with his "enemy" ( I forget who it was ) and I handed him his keys, He HUGGED ME and offered Me cash for helping him find his keys, I said no its ok, just happy to help, he asked if there was any move that I wanted to know about, I said a body slam and did it hurt as bad as it looks? He said Ill show you, and grabbed my neck and groin area and saiud jump up! I did and he had my 230Lbs over his head, he said try to land flat and slammed Me hard! I went up to her at the end of class, which was the last class of the day, and she was really nice and willing to chat. Met R-Truth, and Teddy Long at a Shell station on I-70 coming back from Royal Rumble 2012 in St. Louis, 2 awesome guys, didn’t ask for anything from just commented on a great show tonight and they struck up the conversation. Alicia Fox was sweet and was talkative as well, Wade Barrett was there too and damn is he tall, don’t bum rush them for photos and shit and they seem pretty cool outside the arena

I wanna put a positive experience out there. I remember a time in 2011. I attended a TNA show. Matt Morgan was signing autographs. I wanted to take his picture, which he was cool with. Security was NASTY to the fans. "Didn't get your picture? BACK TO THE END OF THE LINE, PAL!" I was shocked. Matt Morgan wasn't having it. He SLAMS his hands on the table, rattling literally everyone. "No, no, no, no, NO!" He shouts, pointing at every nearby security guard. "I will SIGN THIS! HE (pointing at me) will GET HIS PICTURE! IS THAT UNDERSTOOD!?!?!" So what did they do? "Oh yes sir! I agree sir!" They didn't say a word to me after that. Matt Morgan set them straight. I was shocked, and I was uplifted. There are good people out there, they're just rare. Matt Morgan has proven that.

I met the Road Dogg (Brian Armstrong) back in early 2000-something. I lived in Milwaukee, WI at the time and there was this sport bar that helded cool PPV events once a month and that place was jam pack and what really draws people there is that there's always 1 former WWF, yes F, screw the E, that would make a appearance. Well, I was going to the rest room when around the corner of my eyes, I though I saw the D-O-double-G, I did saw the D-O-double-G. Oh you didn't know? Your ass better call somebody! Anyway, I met Brian there after he just got let go from the WWF, his contract was up, and it was his birthday. I bought him a couple of shots, i didn't treat him like a star, the way i saw it, he was just another person who had a better job than me. So after we did our shots, he asked me if i wanted to take a picture with him so i said sure. And to top things off, out of the freaking blue, he handed me a mini-poster of himself, took out a sharpy and signed. And he didn't ask me for money. I don't know if Brian will ever remember that cause after a couple of shots, we were kind of drunk. But yeah, that was my one cool run-in with a WWF, fuck the E, wrestler.

I have one for you guys. When I was a kid in the 80's, I used to go to the Spectrum every month and watch WWE, then WWF. Back then the wrestlers would show up 4 or 5 hours before the show, park in the same parking lot as everyone else, and walk in the lower entrance. As kids, we used to get all of their autographs, etc as they walked in. I had an autograph pad that had lots of my favorite autographs in it. Paul Orndorff, The Ultimate Warrior, Junk Yard Dog, all the big 80's names. So, one day Brutus "The Barber" Beefcake parked and was walking in. We walked up to him just like we did all the other wrestlers to ask for his auto. I asked and showed him my pad. He then said, "Get away, kid", and slapped my autograph pad right out of my hand and into a puddle(it had rained earlier) and ruined all of my autographs. As an adult I look back and laugh but my 10 year old self was really, really upset that day. lol

It really is sad tho. Not funny :( I saw a video of him hanging with Grim's Toys watching a WWE event at his house and he didn't know a single thing about the business these days which tells me that WWE wants nothing to do with him anymore plus he acted like he didn't want to leave Grim's house...kinda like he had nowhere to go. I teared up a bit to be honest :.(

Met Ric Flair once too. He was very polite. We were in a public place and having lunch. I was with a 'special needs' friend who recognized him. He went out of his way to say hi and have a quick chat. Offered us an autograph and wished us well. He gave my friend a hug before rejoining his family.

I can understand any celebrity getting angry when it comes to fans approaching them while at the gym. His reaction was kind of messed up, but you just don't disturb people who take their workouts seriously. They're only there for one reason and it's not to socialize, so beware. I grew up in California and I've seen quite a few celebrities but I'd never approach anyone unless they're at a meet n greet, autograph signings, or places where they're expected to encounter fans.

This reminds me of an incident with Shawn Michaels at a wrestling event I attended at the Cowpalace awhile back! He was in a match, he slipped out of the ring, someone from the back row threw popcorn at him! When security came out to investigate, Shawn Michaels pointed at some poor kid sitting in the front row & said, "he did it, that's the one"! Then security removed him from his seat, started escorting him out, & Shawn Michaels waved at him bye with a stupid smile on his face! Everyone booed him for it, arguing with security about the kid's innocence! But he was still kicked out of the Cowpalace!

Been a fan since the 80's so I always tried to meet wrestlers when possible. Biggest stars I ever met were Macho Man at an airport luggage claim in the early 2000's and Hogan backstage at a KISS show in 2003. Both were very nice and agreed to take a pic and give an autograph. I was kinda surprised how pleasant they were. Saw DDP at a grill in Tampa, I just said "whoa! it's DDP!" and he winked as he passed by. The coolest thing was after a WCW house show in the late 90's or early 2000's I went to the hotel bar at the Marriott next door to the venue and the place was packed with WCW stars. I didn't want to ask for autographs but I did get photos with Konnan (though he seemed pretty out of it honestly) Billy Kidman, Juventued Guerrera, Stevie Ray (Harlem Heat), Disco Inferno, an unmasked Rey Mysterio (who was the nicest) & Mean Gene Okerlund who was wasted and joked "I don't want a picture with you...I want one with her!" he then pulled some young lady who was walking by into the shot. Luckily she laughed about it. Mr Perfect was at the bar and when I asked for a photo he said "I'm in the middle of a DUI lawsuit and you want a picture of ME at a BAR? No thanks" but he added "I'm leaving soon so catch me outside then I will" and was honestly pretty nice about it. Sadly, I missed his exit and my chance. Wish I still had those pics, this was the era of those disposable cameras. All in all it was a really cool experience and they all seemed very approachable. I guess the alcohol helped too.

I met Sheamus at a Cricket Wireless back in 2016 with my dad and half sister, I didn't get a chance to speak to him due to a time constriction, but he was very polite and he even gave my half sister a hug when she asked for it surprisingly, which made her year by the way. We each received a Cricket Wireless signed autograph with his picture on it and we took a picture with him as well. Not really a huge fan of the guy but he's alright by me.
