But more importantly you missed a critical point to mention: France has massive geopolitical reasons for Durov arrest. If Telegram is widely used on the Russian military, and the french are losing badly in Africa, with all the CFA and uranium french interests being hindered. Therefore they might have caught Pavel because of those reasons, not to mention macron personal implications with his use of the application.
