After owning 2 Chevy Volts I'd really love a performance version of the car (most frustrating part of the Volt for me was that it often feels like it wants to be a performance sedan but at $32k USD price point when it was new it's just not.) But you get used to having 40-60 miles of EV range in the Gen 2 and having to step down to 25 or so feels bad

I just drove 50.2km on full electric yesterday with my 2020 s60PE. It was 13C outside. I was only able to get 41.5km out of electric with my MB e300de which has even bigger battery so go figure....

Good review Eric thank you. Is there a workaround for the AM radio issue like streaming through iheart radio? Also, what is the intro song?

Thanks Chad. I would imagine that there are some AM stations available through iheart but then it becomes a streaming service where data rates may become an issue. Maybe it's my old school thinking on this but that seems more cumbersome than it should be. The intro is just a production music bumper I have. I'd have to look up the name if you want to know. It's only 6 seconds long.

Who cares about Am radio? You can stream talk radio etc. from your phone.

Why pay for data when other automakers offer the radio band for free? AM is favored by a demographic that would likely see Volvo as a brand they would consider.

@@TheNovakReport as far as I can tell, nearly everyone in this demographic who could afford such a car would have a bluetooth enabled cell phone that they are already paying service for. Most radio stations AM and FM have streaming feeds free of charge and this demographic has data plans that can accomodate. AM as a media provider is constantly being distorted by electrical fields in the environment at best. My Porsche Panamera has no AM band and if it did, I would not listen to it.

@@lewisdesotoart be careful not to assume that just because everyone can stream AM through a phone that all AM options are streamable or that everyone is willing to take that extra step. You'd be amazed at the things people cite as their reasons for picking one model over the other.
