Love your videos!! You tell the things how they are! I live in the US but I’m Mexican and I visited PR once and loved it!! ❤️ I find similarities in between Mexico and PR, people are just friendly with strangers, they love party and loud music, there’s potholes, power outrages, and sadly people leave trash behind too! Thanks for sharing 😊

This is very accurate. I am not offended at all. Puerto Rico is not what it used to be. My mother is from Cagüas and I've been buying her ticket to come see me twice a year. The pets on the street were very sad. I wanted to save them all. I couldn't go for a walk around the neighborhood without them chasing me. Also, waking up at 5 AM everyday by the neighbor's dog bark. I've never cursed so much.😅 I spent more time taking a shower than anything else.🥵 The last time I visited, I spent one month in the hospital caring for my dad, and every day was a nightmare. Again, not offended at all because it is very accurate. 👍

I’m a huge fan of your videos. I’m Cuban from Tampa FL, some of my best friends are Puertorriqueños, there’s no other culture I feel more identified with than the Puerto Rican one. The music, the loud happy people, the food ingredients, the pot holes, the nature and sceneries in general and the very talkative extrovert social friendly people. Nothing could remind me more of my hometown. I look forward to visit your beautiful island and interact with the locals.

I just got back and one thing that I learned is don’t bother bringing a bunch of daily outfits if you are going to be outside of San Juan. Bring swimwear.. quick dry because pretty much everything you plan to do that day.. you are gonna get wet. I’m from Chicago so with the humidity down there.. I had to get wet at some point in the day to cool me off whether at the beach or waterfall or even river. I got wet pretty much everyday. Brought a bunch of outfits, but ended up using my couple pairs of swim wear I had instead. I could have used the extra room for stuff I got here instead of taking home the outfits I never used back to the states..

2024-The loud music I do not have a problem with. The the loud speakers and the offroad vehicles I have a problem with. Yes power outages. But elevator and water is sustained by a generator. Potholes suprisingly are being filled. Beaches are fairly clean. Well at least in Isla Verde. You forgot about the driving habits. Lawless. What I find interesting- drivers are in a rush and reckless, but when waiting in queue, or sidewalk very slow. But I am getting acclimated. Being a patron at various places

@@AnaSantapau Gracias. The other thing I found perplexing with the lack of rules of the road-I see no signs of road rage and more unusual, rare traffic accidents. I go to Florida for a couple of days.where most use traffic signals, no random U turns, stop on red or stop signs. Traffic accidents and road rage galore just leaving the airport. As mentioned becoming acclimated to the place. Love the food. Just need to learn Puerto Rican Spanish

why are prices for basic goods high in puerto rico ? well it is because puerto rico is a COMMONWEALTH of the USA which means that puerto rico can only import goods from the united states of america which means "BIG BROTHER"(THE USA) is taking advantage of the island of puerto rico !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! i truly think that puerto rico should become an INDEPENDENT NATION where they can import goods from ANY COUNTRY which means prices will come down because there is more competition !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! when puerto rico had 2 hurricanes and an earthquake in between the 2 hurricanes, did the USA( "BIG BROTHER") come to help puerto rico right away ??????!!!!!!!!!!!!! of course not !!!!!!!!!!!!!! to me those are ECONOMIC WAR CRIMES against the citizens of puerto rico !!!!!!!!!!!!!! go for your independence and define your own destiny !!!!!!!!!!!! of course being independent means the "new" nation can have relations with any country in the world where those countries can help puerto rico build its infrastructure !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,super videos,,,indeed !!!!!!!!!!!

@@DiamondPR Hola, I find it interesting to hear the different types or styles of Spanish spoken from different parts of the world. Thankfully, there are 3 TV Stations where I live that broadcast in Spanish. I love to listen to the News in Spanish. I don't always fully understand, but I understand more than I'm able to speak. Now when I encounter anyone who has trouble speaking English, I fully understand their feelings of not being very good. I often tell any Spanish speaking person in Spanish, it's okay, because I don't speak Spanish very well. Kindness and respect appear to cross all language barriers.
