@@HotPocketEnjoyer Yeah a never ending fight. Ganon can never die, he will keep coming back and fuck Zelda all over for Link to save. As much as these games are hyped for their gameplay mechanics and environment, there is absolutely no story to them which is often overlooked by all reviewers.

I would not say that horses are more or less useless in the new game. Espacially if you think of stamina, a horse is quicker and you don't have to search these so called "building stations" throughout the lands and places. Plus it takes even more time to adjust every piece together and if you need more power or something else you may have to search further while having a horse is more comfortable. You can hop on and off quickly. The only reason that may seem to be a problem could be the distance when you use the whistle to get your horse to your position. I hope that the somehow managed to make the horse movements smarter in that case.

My largest problem with horses is that they hardly go anywhere interesting. And the places they can get to, it’s usually the longest route

My theory is that the body in the cave isn’t Ganondorf. It’s a being that Ganondorf and/or Demise managed to seal away out of fear. The malice isn’t trying to capture Link and Zelda in the cave, it’s trying to stop them from finding whoever is in the cave. Zelda doesn’t plead to Hylia for help, she pleads to the being in the cave. That’s why Links hand changes. It isn’t corrupted but infused with power. I also think that the being is a Zoni (I think that’s how you spell it) priest who almost defeated Ganon/Demise in the past. Though it was defeated Ganon/Demise was unable to destroy it and so they sealed it away. It’s also why there seems to be a connection with Links new abilities and the Zoni. The reemergence of Ganondorf and at such power is because Ganondorf knows that if Link is able to free the being that they can combine power and finally defeat Ganondorf for good. Of course this is just a theory and is probably way off.

$70 on a case by case basis. In other words, the Mario, (the mainline Mario games. Don't know about its spinoffs) Zelda and Pokemon franchises will be probably $70 from here on out.

Maybe. Standard Switch cartridges are 16gb max, so the extra cost for the bigger cart is the larger reason.

Can't lie. As it would actually help the ruins in BotW, and mowing Nintendo's love of cyclical natures. I feel like TotK will somehow transport Link and Zelda back to the Original Fight against Ganon (the one of Legend from BotW.) It could end up sitting the fight that actually CAUSED Ganondorf to give up on his reincarnation, and start just going straight to Dark Beast Ganon.

For once, my hype surrounding a Zelda game is tame. Not because it's going to be the most ambitious Zelda title to date, but because I made a conscious effort to keep myself in check for this. My only hope for the game is an odd one: no more shrines. I need to elaborate a little. Some shrines are ok, and even expected as a core Zelda mechanic. Just not 120 of them. Please. Cheers!

Listen, I love Matt Mercer (longtime critical roll fan)... but if he is playing a mummified Ganon I think he was a very poor choice. They didn't even change his voice at all to make him more scary. The first games acting was way too mediocre for one of the biggest gaming series in the history of the platform. Meh.
