I take 2 cavalry and 1 infantry, so I can use the infantry to lock an enemy in battle while my cavalry waits in the forest.

Love how he said "don't take 3 different times of units" and advocates taking 3 times the same units.... when the game encourages diversity. So basically always take 2 identical and 1 compensating? That is literally what i get out of this. no worries tho, everyone is following this rule of thumb. Edit: what i mean by encouraging diversity is the 30% comamnder XP bonus for diversity under your command.

cant you just turn friendly fire off because I know it is part of the game but it is annoying and doesn't help anything with the gameplay at all it just makes the gameplay worse since then archers are bad and people are salty because of friendly fire then get angry at the archer and that's it I think friendly fire is pointless.

Shame about WG getting mixed with this... I liked the game back in the day when it was playable via Steam (except that ham-fisted "progression" that was just stat boosts for players that had played more, makes no freaking sense to me), no idea how it is now game-play wise.
