Venom is one of the well known villains in the Spider-Man and Marvel Universe. He is also one of the most terrifying ones of all time. But why is that? What makes him so scary? Venom has so many different abilities, some of which Peter Parker wishes he had. So what exactly can Venom do that Spider-Man cant?
The venom symbiote can evolve. Meaning it can adapt and change to fits its environment and its host. It also gains the hosts unique abilities. Venom’s power fluctuates based on how much the host hates Spider-Man, now that’s some deep seeded grudges. Venom also generates endless webbing unlike Spider-Man who has been known to run out.
Venom can also shape shift and constantly change completely, even giving the host incredible fashion sense. Peter Parker can’t just change on a whim, and he can’t camouflage or go invisible either, bummer. One odd but amazing power that Venom has is the ability to regrow its host’s limbs back if they are missing any. Odd power for such an evil villain don’t you think? Well how about one that’s more fitting? Venom can also turn its body into whatever weapons it wants to. Venom can also help its host breath underwater. Why and how? Also, oddly enough, Venom can insert itself into the internet, yes we know this sounds crazy, but hey Peter Parker can’t do it.

Gabriel Vitug Mac Gargan wasn't a weaker Venom, Mac Gargan as Venom was actually stronger than Eddie Brock Venom at the time since the symbiote is always evolving, Venom didn't like Mac Gargan as a host and it showed in a few different instances and the spiderman battle being one of them

Physically Gargan is stronger than Brock, at least at that point in time. However, the symbiote and Gargan were not a good pair. Brock and the symbiote were the perfect unison, allowing for nearly unlimited potential. The symbiote broke Gargan down mentally, which is why it pretty much did whatever the hell it wanted while he was the host. For Venom to be at it's fullest ability it needs to work perfectly with it's host both mentally and physically.

Not exactly. The symbiote didn't hate parker. It loved him and was confused as to why it was cast away. In it's weakened state, joining with Eddie Brock and becoming overwhelmed by his hatred for Spider-man, it began to twist the symbiote's love for spider-man into a shared hate. The symbiote it's self doesn't really hate spider-man, it admires him.

It's not venom who nullifies spider sense, but spider sense that nullifies itself (when it comes to the symbiot, which it considers a part of spidey, thus not dangerous), reilly didn't bond with the symbiot, so his spider sense still sees venom as a threat

Little did you know, the Venom Symbiote actually just amplifies you're emotions and thoughts, I can't make you do something you don't want to do, as seen with She-Venom, Eddie Brock's late wife, she was wounded by a couple thugs during a struggle that Eddie witnessed while fighting Spider-Man, sent out a piece of the symbiote to his wife, who it bonded to momentarily, where she slaughtered the thugs and blamed it on the symbiote, which Eddie said it can't make you do something. And for Flash Thompson, only reason he has legs without the symbiote active, is with prosthetic legs, otherwise he's just in a wheelchair, and only time he has the prosthetic legs is when he joined the Guardians of the Galaxy. Like when he went against toxin, he crawled up a flight of stairs because the symbiote couldn't regenerate Flash's wounds fast enough, oh and it has a minor healing factor, Flash got shot point blank in the head and the symbiote put his head back together, and even put him together when Toxin ripped him into 3 pieces. And Flash actually stopped taking the serum that prevented the symbiote from bonding to him because it made the symbiote weaker and he needed it to be at full strength. And when Venom took the Guardians to the Klyntar home world, the elders purified the symbiote from its hate and jealousy, and rebonds to Flash as a Space Knight, which resembles Eddies variation of Venom. When Flash returned to Earth, he was separated from Venom where it bonded to Lee Price, who abused the symbiote to make it do what he wants which it objectified when Price would make it be a villain again saying it doesn't want to do this. Then when Price was arrested by Eddie Brock and Spiderman, the symbiote returned to Eddie, but since it was abused, it doesn't remember Eddie's rules (Eddie was actually an Anti-Hero) and became Feral, attacking anyone who it saw as a threat to it and Eddie from separation. And the answer to why Venom is able to allow it's host to breathe under water is the same concept as to how Venom is able to breathe in substances such as tear gas or poisonous gases, it filters out the elements and turns it into oxygen, for water, it filters out the hydrogen to allow the host to breathe oxygen. And with gas, it filters out the chemicals and allowing oxygen into the host's lungs. This was explained when Agent Venom saved one of Flash's student's lives from Jack O'Lantern.

The symbiote is more like to mimic the previous hosts abilities, than learn it. For example, in the animated series where Peter was using webshooters it did shoot the web from the inner side of the wrist, while the symbiote did it from the outer side of the host's wrist. Not copying it but mimicking the method.

The symbiotes aren't naturally evil. They inherit their hosts' personalities. If the host is naturally good or pure the symbiote becomes good or pure. If the host is evil, the symbiote becomes corrupted. This is the symbiotic relationship that makes up the basis of the symbiote idea. Don't get me wrong, the symbiote wether it's good or evil can influence the host but it's ultimately up to the host if he wants to be influenced. (Unless they don't have the will to control it)

Extreme Pc Gaming Spider-Man used the bell tower to get rid of the symbiote via high pitched noise/vibrations of the bell. The symbiote accidentally bonded to Eddie Brock when it was falling down the tower.(Eddie was standing under the tower at the time). Eddie hated Spider-Man and so did the symbiote because Spider-Man neglected it. The symbiote intensified Eddie's hatred and he used it to become a villain.

Some emotions like how people don't see him as a hero and more as a villain effect him more.Also a lot of things became easier for Spider-Man such as defeating villains that usually gave him a problem. I feel like people don't realize that Venom isn't necessarily evil, or a villain. He's an antihero, and by Klyntar (symbiote race) standards, he's definitely not evil. Klyntar typically drain adtenaline and kill their hosts. Venom unusually wants to form a genuine bond with his host, and desires to protect him/her. Ofc, his own personality is susceptible to influence of his hosts' personalities.
