Loved the sentiment of his Grandfather's cufflinks. I was honored when my Grandfather gave me his father's two pocket watches. One was a cheap dollar watch from when he was young, the other is a solid gold Illinois, which I have displayed in a glass dome. After his passing my aunt presented me with his solid gold Whittnauer tank and a solid gold Accutron retirement gift from Grumman Aerospace. I wear them on special family occasions.

i have never been in to watches other than a tool for telling the time, in the last few months i lost both my mother and father, very unexpectedly and ended up with my dads modest watch collection. An old Seiko sealion 505 that he bought from a fish tank in Singapore in 1974 while in the navy (the year i was born) a Roamer vanguard and a vintage gold seamaster her bought not long before he passed. They are now the most amazing and valuable thing in my life and connect me to him in a deeply personal way no other item could. Cheers Dad.... but now i realy want my own watch to hand down and have loved learning about watches from Nico, i just wish i had less expensive taste lol. cheers boys great vid as always!.

My first ever watch was a G-Shock and it was a gift from my father. Back in the day, my family was poor and my timing always very bad, until my father gifted me G shock and told me "time will never wait, the only way let time wait for you, is plan ahead the time". Always remember until now. I lose the watch from a bully in my secondary school. Even tho my father gather his gang and rush in the school beat the hell up the bully. The watch still forever gone. But his word will never gone. Now he is 52 years old, making big business and make impact in the industry.

I have my grandfather's 60s gold Rolex Tudor. Manual wind with the small second hand. Very special to me. I wore it on my wedding day earlier this year. He is no longer with us but he will be in my heart forever ♥️

I will say, I've only discovered your channel Nico in the last week. Mainly because I love watches and have a very modest collection. I've subscribed and hit the bell as you're much like me. I hate Hublot and seriously thought I was the only one that did! They look all kinds of wrong to me.
