I love Goten, he's a precious Angel, just look at his big eyes and happy smiles. He's so innocent and is a good son. I would love to see more of him in the episodes. I loved the episode where he and trunks went out looking for a gift for Videl. Those boys are darling and they really add happiness to the episodes. Thanks for posting this video. I am not happy with DBZ Kai! Why couldn't they just leave well enough alone? I had bought so many of the VHS tapes of Dbz from Funimation. Every month a video came out and I bought it. I had DBZ tapes and figurines all over my Apt. We used to have DBZ parties. We'd select a saga, I'd get pizza, and sodi. We'd have bags of candy. My kids and grandkids would be there and we'd camp out in the front room and watch DBZ, play Budokai, and watch more DBZ into the night. Those were awesome times. I gave all my tapes to my grandson but unfortunately they had a fire and all those movies went up in flames. I had also crocheted 2 blankets for my grandchildren. (that they loved) They also went up in smoke but thank GOD the whole family was safe, even the cats got away. Praise JESUS for that It took a while for our family to get back on our feet but we did, and now I have to buy all those videos over again on DVD. And I don't want NO DBZ KAI, I want regular Dragon Ball, DBZ, where Hercule isn't called Mr. Satan...That is the sickest part of the show.

Originally though the story was goten did have a tail at birth. However because they knew from goku and gohan as a youth that they would turn into apes, chi chi and gohan made sure to remove it.

Gohan was born pre SSJ so that part of the gene is still dormant hence being born with a tail (a common saiyan trait) and needing to cut the tail and training to achieve SSJ. Goten and Trunks was born after their fathers achieved SSJ so you'd figure that part of the Saiyan gene (SSJ gene) has been unlocked and was passed on to the kids when conceived seems like a better more simple explanation to me
