I must say that Mr. Allen was a joy to work with on set. I got to work on the Santa's workshop (shot in an old Colgate factory) scenes as a stand-in and was amazed at how humble and caring Tim was towards the cast and crew. He made us laugh, got us drinks and was an all round gentleman.

I worked on Home Improvement a few times, and I found him to be really playful, but sometimes, he would keep playing while everyone else was over it and wanted to get the scene done. He would hit the annoying level kind of a lot, in my times there, but he was not a jerk, just silly when we wanted to move on with the job.

I love that you’ve included so many Christmas movies in your videos. After having more difficulty each year in finding my favorite holiday films in free streaming services, I’ve started actively collecting Christmas DVDs; if I have to pay to watch them regardless, I’d just as soon own them. And your insights have added to the enjoyment of this new hobby. I did own a few Christmas movies before I started this project, though, including this movie which I watch on DVD most years. But your comment regarding the deleted 1-800 phone number scene motivated me to pull out my old VHS to peek at the opening scenes - and sure enough, there it was! I was excited to find that, and if you hadn’t mentioned the pre-1997 VHS I likely wouldn’t have ever missed it in the DVD release. Yet, it sounded very familiar in the VHS when I learn it. Thanks for sharing your film research.

"1 800 spank me... I know that number"... Is one of my favorites parts in the movie. Again... Why is Disney responsible for making sure nobody's child calls the number?! Parent s are the ones who should be making sure of that... But no... Nobody actually wants to take the time to pay attention to their child... So adults lose that incredibly classic scene.😡 So aggravating/ unfair!!😡😡

The part that always bugged me when the sequels came out was the Mrs. Claus, if we are to follow canon, then the Santa that fell off the roof had to have been married as well per the Mrs. Claus. So if that is true, what happened to the first Mrs Claus when the original Santa fell off the roof? Did she automatically die and disappear as well? It puts a new spin on it when you think Santa and Mrs Claus lives depend on him.

Amen. How about how they dont even blink an eye after Scott comes in as the new santa. But niw they work feverishly to keep him alive. Everyone tells him in the second one. He has been the best santa. Kind of sad really.
