Hi spencer, thanks for the movie name. I may actually stream the movie and watch it. As for your ProForm bike tablet's ability to Cast to an external TV. Unfortunately it is hit and miss. The Android operating system is not the most robust platform to work with. The older models seem to work but it is not something I can rely on to work all the time. ----- Try casting to a different TV to see if it will work. Good Luck!

Sean, if the connection issues stem from connecting to your wireless network, I would install something on your phone that can track the signal strength at the location of your S27i. I installed Ping Tools on my Android Samsung S22 Ultra 5G phone and it gives me an easy to read picture into my wireless signal strength at the location of my treadmill. The trick is to show iFit/NordicTrack that the signal strength is not the problem. Then you may be able to get help conneting...

Hi Jessica TX, sorry it took me so long to answer. I had taken some time away to recover from some health issues, but starting today, I am back and plan to devote as much time as I can to my KZbin channel and our Facebook group *NordicTrack Tips, Tricks, & Hacks.* Hopefully I will get to all the questions/comments that have been piling up. ----- As for whether there is a generic code to bypass the annoying screen where you have to call NordicTrack for a code... the answer is NO. There is no generic code to use. You must call NordicTrack in order to get into privileged mode. ----- It happened to me as well and I was not happy. It obviously is something NordicTrack implemented in order to lock down our machines and take away our ability to install other applications. ----- Not to fret, make certain you are subscribed to my channel so you will be notified when I post new content. Look for a new video to be uploaded this week that will finally have the answer on how to get back into privileged mode without the annoying code.

Hi kanedafx1, iFIT is awesome to have, but you can always use the display to watch KZbin videos, Netflix, even Peloton workout videos. There are other options as well. On the other hand,, iFIT provides the ability for your virtual trainer to control your treadmill's speed and incline.

Can you explain what an IPTV app is? Is it just TV over the Internet? I assume as long as the app does not require Google Play services and it is compatible with your version of Android, I don't see why it would not work.

I tried all you have said in your video and the only one thing that does not work for me on S22i bike and the rowing machine (which I bought 4 months ago) is the "open Buried app" when I switched from Malataengineermode to Tango C and back I do not get the green/red menu you are getting. Just wandering if you have any other option turn on or off that would help getting that screen. That would be great to have access to this. Looking forward to see PART 2. :-)

Hi Natalia, I have a new video coming out on Sunday that will address all the different ways to install Netflix. Here are some suggestions in advance. ----- Note: if your machine comes with the newer Android 9 version, follow these steps. To get Netflix installed, the steps to download are different, after downloading the steps in the video will be the same. I will be uploading a new video outlining the new steps for 2021 and Android 9. ----- If during the install you receive this error: "This device is not supported by the app," then you need to follow these steps. ----- Uninstall the Netflix app you just installed. Then instead of going directly to Netflix, you will be going to the APK Pure web site and searching for Netflix. You will find several variants of the apk file. Make certain to choose the one with the BIG RED letter N on a black background. Once you click on the icon, it should take you to a different screen that has a big green "Download APK button." Click on that and make certain you have downloaded an apk file, not the xapk file. From there you will follow the same instructions to install Netflix. Please come back and let us know how it worked.

Hi my cycle screen will not even show that main screen. It gives me a code saying it can’t connect to wifi even tho I see it is connected .. I restarted it but it’s just blank white screen.. Hi Judy, YES these should work on most NordickTrack/ProForm models. Some of these may no longer work as the machines are getting newer and newer and as the Android version keeps getting updated, so will the options. Plz come back and let us know what you found?

Nelson, have you ever tried to upgrade the version of android on your device to a later version (5.1.1 to 7,8,9)? If you or anybody did , how did it go? I am asking because, based on one of your video the split screen feature which I would love to have does not work Android 5.1.1. I assume you would have to upgrade the OS and Upgrade iFit as well... quiet an undertaking. :-)

Hi Richard, unfortunately it is impossible to upgrade the Android version as it is tied to the hardware. You would have to get a new bike or treadmill that came with a later version of Android. Believe me when I tell you that I spent weeks trying everything I could, to no avail.

It is much appreciated and allows me to interact with you, the NordicTrack owner. ----- As for pairing your phone with your machine, I don't think that is possible as I have yet to hear from any of my 2,500 subscribers and almost 1,000 members of my Facebook group called, NordicTrack Tips, Tricks, & Hacks" subs m saying they successfully paid their phone. ----- As for Spotify, if you go to APK Pure, you can download the Spotify app and try installing it on your machine. Plz come back and let me know if your are successful. Will make a note to try this in a future video.

Marisol Guerrero, Apr 6, 2021, 11:50 AM MDT: Hi Nelson, Please do the following steps: Entering Privilege Mode: *1) Tap 15 times in rapid succession* , on the lower left of the Weekly Stats screen. *2) Wait 6 seconds without touching the screen.* Please count out full seconds by following a clock or timer. *3) Tap 15 more times in rapid succession.* 4) A message will appear briefly toward the bottom of the screen saying "Setting privilege mode to: True"

Hi tijma, Yes it does! Any treadmill that can support iFit> will be running on an Android platform which means most of the stuff I talk about in the videos can be done on the S15i as well.

@@jasonabshier70 will have to go to Tier 2 Help for you. Just a fancy way of saying I have to contact a tech rep and get some help. So, you should know that the tech reps know about T³ or Ten Tap Technique. They leave that advice for last as they do not want people knowing how to get into the Android Operating System (OS). Give me about 10 mins and we will get you into privileged mode. Stay positive. Be right back...

First you must be in privileged mode and then you can choose from either the Display or Security settings. From Settings/Display you can choose the *Sleep* option that will allow you to pick a time for your display to go to sleep. There is also a *Daydream* option that allows you to choose from different screensavers. ----- You can also choose from *Settings/Security* where you will find a *screen lock* option. You can choose to lock your display so you will need a password or a pin, or some other factor in order to unlock the screen. ----- I personally use the Security screen lock option so I am forced to enter a password in order to access my display. NOTE: iFIT comes with a screensaver that kicks in when you leave iFIT on. When I recently did a factory reset, the iFIT screensaver was set automatically. ----- Hopefully you are subscribed to my channel so you will be notified when I post new content. Look for a new video to be uploaded this week that will finally have the answer on how to get back into privileged mode without the annoying code.

Hi Ken, sorry I did not get back to you sooner. The same way you got into privileged mode, is the same way to get out. Just repeat the T³ - Ten Tap Technique and it will disable privileged mode.

It’s such a shame that the machine isn’t built to last! Nordic Track sent these machines out with a faulty circuit board that will go out not long after purchasing. Oh, I should add, not long but long enough to be outside the return window. Mine went precisely 6 months after purchasing. The circuit board controls the belt, so when it goes out your stuck with a tv stand. Replacements are on back order due to high demand and I’ve read many customers end up with the same problem not long after replacing. I wish someone would have written about this when I was researching treadmills to buy. Please do some research of your own and steer clear of Nordic track brand treadmills!

Hi Ali, You bring up a good point. NordicTrack has been having some issues with hardware components. I believe the massive interest in their home smart exercise equipment, brought on by the COVID-19 pandemic, really was what broke their quality control systems. For years they fulfilled all their orders and had a process in place to make certain all their products went thru a vigorous check before heading out the door. Then COVID-19 reared its ugly head and disrupted it all. NordicTrack never recovered... Hopefully they will get their sh#t together again... they are trying and for 2021 are putting processes in place to address these issues. Let's hope 2021 brings back some normalcy, to include NordicTrack/ProForm/FreeMotion and ICON Health and Fitness putting Customer Service back at the top of their list. Mine is 28 years old, has heart rate control. Regular maintenance and new belts only. I checked with Nordictrack, even at this age the motor warranty is still good as I have the receipt.

All of this is assuming the screen works. Had my VU19 for almost a year and the screen has worked maybe twice. Pretty much have to use it as a "dumb" stationary bike. Wish NT would get back to me for a fix.

Hi Mitch. This is unacceptable. I would report your issue using the iFIT app from your phone or tablet/computer. You will get an automated response immediately which will server a twofold purpose. 1. You will have an official correspondence with a date/time stamp of when you reported the issue. 2. Within 3 - 5 business days you will be contacted by a technician who will hopefully help you to fix your issue. In addition you should request a free additional year of iFIT to compensate you for your problems. Good Luck. ----- Plz come back and let us know what happens.

Hi Rich, not at all. Though NordicTrack machines are not as robust as normal Android tablets, you can safely install several apps that will work just fine alongside the iFIT program. NOTE: NordicTrack does claim it will harm your treadmill, bike, elliptical, rower, etc., yet I have corresponded with thousands of viewers who have installed additional apps like Netflix and have yet to hear anyone say they damaged their machine. If you understand where NordicTrack is coming from, they want to have a monopoly on the software on their machines so the customer is limited to the iFIT app. Netflix, Amazon Prime Video, Peloton... those apps are a distraction that may take away money out of the hands of NordicTrack since it may discourage customers from continuing to pay the monthy/yearly fee for iFIT.

Kanak, were you able to get it back? if not, try these suggestions. 1. Power cycle your treadmill on/off. 2. Check to make certain your wireless connection is good. Reboot your router just to be certain. 3. Find where you have your internet connection configured on your treadmill and use a "long press" and hold the connection. You should see an option to "Forget" the wireless connection. Then go and configure it again. 4. Do a factory reset. 5. If all of the above fails to get you back your internet access, call iFIT, as you may have a hardware issue with the treadmill's wireless adapter. ----- Good luck.
