I dont know how people can say this game doesnt have a good or any story at all. Its just like Darksouls, you have to dig into the game if you want to know more about its lore. But once you start learning more, you realize how good Destiny's story is.

If you remember, people used to say the same thing about Souls... shit, many people are still saying it about DS2. After I've spent more time making DS2 lore, I'm realizing just how good it really is regardless of the trend to bash it. Destiny's story is just going to take time to win people over; time and a community of content creators just like with Dark Souls. This storytelling style calls for a community and discussion, and, unfortunately, not many people are used to this style. THIS LOOKS LIKE A JOB FOR A DARK SOULS LORE KZbinR!!! That's what my Manifest Destiny Series will be.

TerraMantis vault of glass is intense shit. Not playing the raid itself but like the fact its in its own realm not in our space and time and stuff. Also Kabr is the guy who went into the vault and built the relics.

The Last part makes sense, since the Vex are trying to lock teirselfes out of this cycle and created their own cicle within the Vault, A Group of Guardians destroys Atheon, Time starts over and another Group of Guardians destroys Atheon. Some Vex Weapons/Armor say that the material is older than the Solar System, because it´s from a past Cycle.

Thanks man! Yeah, I think Destiny's audience consists of a VERY vocal minority of people who feel slighted or hate the game, but I think it has a much, much larger silent or quiet majority of people who like the game. But again, thanks for the compliments, I work hard on my content. It is a shame, though, this is easily the ugliest comment section of all my videos, especially in such a short period.

Dude that mars thing at the end, when the 3 guardians walking on the surface of mars while the mountains are "changing".... I'm pretty sure the changing mountains is to show how far the three have walked. For example, Lord of the Rings: Then the 3 companions are trying to find the orc pac that took the 2 hobbits. When they were tracking their pray, it kept showing them running over all kinds of terrain, rocks, mountains, forests, and valleys. The only difference is that on mars, there is only one kind of terrain, red mountains.

It's important to note the scene takes place in modern day. The average human walking speed is 5 miles per hour. An astronaut's oxygen tank lasts 6-8 hours depending on exertion, age and physical conditioning. Point being, an astronaut couldn't traverse a single mountain in that time frame, let alone the many mountains the scene shows, with their limited oxygen supply.

Why would they send all those different astronauts to walk the same exact path over and over again over the course of centuries?And why would the suits look exactly look the same if it took place over such a long period of time?And why is the same person holding the rifle each time?Plus nobody knows how far away the Traveller was from the landing site so it's impossible to tell how long it would take to get there. I'm sorry, I don't want to sound like I'm just bashing you, but this part of the theory really makes absolutely no sense.

meandmyfriends999 well when you look at the stranger and how she is described as something that is not from this time. it would not be to far fetched to consider she is not a time traveler but instead she can move through a layers of dimensions. Consider that when she gets the message after the first mission on Venus then vanishes. she dose not warp to some other place or through a different time but instead she walks through a door. a wormhole to a different dimension with a different event happening at the same spot. so with the astronauts walking through different scenes. its not different locations or a disstant past. but different layers of the same space and time. like different parallel roads traveling forward

I never thought Bungie ever had a problem with making good lore. The problem on their end - and what ultimately affected Destiny's reviews - is the games narration; which wasn't told very well. The story writers did a good job in applying existing mythos into the game, but lacked execution. And this isn't me asking for everything related to the story to be handed on a silver platter. And while Dark Souls normally lets you weed out the lore from the items in the game, Destiny requires you to go outside of the game in order to access the grimoire cards.

Really....Destiny has been the only Bungie game I've played up to date, and the only cod games I've owned are Black Ops and Modern Warfare 2, so you can't say I'm a fanboy of any of these gaming companies. CynicalReviews Actually I was thinking more like, somewhere in Halo, the rings become a transport for time, and when they are destroyed, they bring whatever was on them intk the past. So when the flood was destroyed in halo 3, they were transported to destiny's time line where they eventually evolved into the hive. Since the hive didn't exist in halo, the covenant wasn't able to prosper like they were supposed to, so no Halo rings were created, and Destiny was born.

I alwayss viewed the "shifting mountains" in the intro cutscene as more of a montage, a form of video editing to show the places they've walked to, of how the three astronauts were walking forever to reach the Traveler. But after this video, I think you're right. Destiny is a true mindfuck.

Kayser Yoshimatsu Well, the neverending cycle of the Universe's constant renewal is a bit different. The reason the missions and strikes can and will be repeated is because of the boss within the Vault of Glass, Atheon. When Atheon is killed, the Vex have a failsafe implanted within him that causes any major blows the Guardians have struck against the Darkness to be undone; reversed through time specifically, which includes Atheon himself. Since there is almost always sure to be a fireteam defeating Atheon at nearly every waking moment, it delivers insight as to why the strike and raid bosses always come back rather than a simple gameplay mechanic.

bobby prestin Jesus its like none of you actually looked into the development side of Destiny, they had to rebuild the game from scrapes within the last 6 months of dev. That is why we have Grim cards (couldn't implement the story with cut scenes into the new game since the story was changed so drastically) That is why we have cut scenes that never made it into the game with dialog that has nothing to do with this main 'plot'. That is why so many fucking things are unexplained in the game. When ever you see a title with the company "Activi$ion" on the box, its better to just sit it out because its nothing more than a cash grab. But hey, if the destiny community really enjoy the lack of content that the devs promised would be in the game and are satisfied with paying $40 for more DLC that adds EMOTES!!! Then gaming is a lost cause.

You'd be surprised to know that a lot of the Bungie employees that actually worked on the Halo series left the company prior to the contract it had with Microsoft was disabled. Most either left and formed new smaller companies (i.e. Moonshatter Studios) or joined companies like Square Enix. I find it odd when people harshly criticize Bungie as if everyone of the original staff is still there. But they're not. It's like mocking a dead man.

Please keep these Destiny video's coming. I will be the first to admit that I have a Grimoire Progress rating of 2545 and I had yet to read a single card. Watching your Destiny videos have motivated me to start reading the cards so I can shed a lot of "light" on Destiny's shortcoming story narrative. I am also going to contact a few buddies that I have that work for Bungie to have them take a look at your videos. Great material, well edited, very informative (Great way for Bungie to potentially fill in a story line with something other than cards) and pretty funny; especially when on this video with the Sweden colors and HalfLife 3 Confirmed" broke out on the screen, I literally laughed out loud.
