I use a bit of unsented clay cheap kitty litter for the bottom of my UDS and it helps with flair ups and when I clean it all out it makes it easier . Wonder if anyone else has tried that

Hey ShaunPanzer I have heard of folks doing that but I just simply dump out anything that falls into the bottom. With the Super 55 I made a charcoal basket that has catches most of the ash. Easy clean up. Appreciate it man.

So on the website what option am I choosing if I just want the kit with parts? I plan on picking up a drum here real soon and since everything seems real straight forward I want to be able to do this on my own. And I know these videos have been out for awhile but I’ve not seen a drum smoker that looks as amazing as this, please any help would be appreciated. Thank you.
