This really is a fantastic vehicle. We are super happy with it. - Great price! - Good/comparable gas mileage - Good engine acceleration - Handles well - Seats all stow flat!! (huge amount of hauling room if needed!!) - Plenty of room in all seats (IMO, just check for yourself at a dealership. This is just too much of an opinion thing.) - Multiple ways to open sliding doors / rear gate - Excellent keyfob! (never needs to leave your pocket!) - Looks great for a minivan - Has an excellent center console! - Lots of little places to store stuff up front - Great heat/AC options between front/back/left/right/head/feet/heat/cool - Rear 12v port, front 12v port, two front usb ports (no middle ports though) The only real negative is that this is my wife's car, not mine. (can't believe I love this thing)

I used a decibel reader on the Cell phone during a test drive of a Touring L Plus trim. The Active noise cancellation as well as acoustical glass and insulation package combined to produce only 40-50dbs. By contrast vehicles without those features will score between 50-70 dbs in the cabin noise category. They quiet tuned the vehicle well. Lower trim lines get less insulation and may have louder cabins.

people need to understand the T&C and this Pacifica are built in a plant in Canada. the 200 is built in Detroit. separate plants can have separate quality issues.

An eleventh thing: The key fobs drain their 'coin cell' 2032 batteries faster than any other car. It's not hard to replace -- the instructions in the manual are very good -- but put new ones in as soon as you gat that 'KEY FOB BATTERY LOW' message. The doors open easily with the 'kick', but closing them is harder. If I could consistently close the liftgate with my foot, I could kick field goals in the NFL. Aside from that, this is a fine minivan -- quiet, smooth-riding, and got 32 MPG on a 1400-mile trip. And the seating flexibility is great -- gives us so much space even my wife couldn't fill it up.

Our Pacifica is too low to the ground. In 6 months of ownership, we had to repair/replace 2 bumpers and these computerized air shutters that break off when you scrape the front bumper. Cost us over $2000.00 to fix both times. This last time the shutter thing rubbed through the air conditioning condensor-we have no air conditioning. Don't buy if you live in a hilly area! Or get a lift kit for it!

We just bought the Touring L Plus and it doesn't have the vacuum or the sun/moon roof. Those are standard on the Limited, and your going to pay around $50,000 when all is said and done. The list price at the end of this video is very deceiving at $28, 595 (for a van that well equipt)...We paid almost $40,000 for ours, and we were lucky to find the Touring L Plus with both the power doors and dvd player. We're turning in our 2014 town and country, which we were not fond of. It was a good reliable vehicle, we just couldn't take the lack of pick up. We previously had a 2004 Dodge Grand Caravan for 10 years, and that was a great minivan with wonderful pick up and a nice smooth ride. This minivan reminds me of that. Anyone looking to purchase one of these should look at www.chrysler.com and save themselves some time to see what is in stock at which of their local Chrysler dealers.

Ashley8875, the lack of pick-up you're talking about was most likely because the "Eco mode" was on; whenever I have to merge onto highways, I turn it off, and my 2013 Town & Country turns into a different animal!

Nope, never drove with the eco mode on, that made it even worse. Also, when we bought the Chrysler Town and Country, we were told to leave the extra traction feature on, which also took away from the pick up AND chewed out tires up. Ugh, I think we had a bad or misinformed salesman...Oh well, anyway, we're very happy with the Pacifica, a much better, smooth ride : )

I want to like it so much but I don't think I will ever be able to get past the new Pacifica's horrible looking rear end. It looks like a great minivan but I think the 2011-2015 Chrysler T&Cs will always be my favorite minivans, especially the T&C S versions. Best looking vans in the entire world. I just bought one as well. this video is a bit misleading tho. You have to get the Limited L to get all the features listed here. And the MSRP at the end is for the base model no features. I paid $44k for the limited L. Not $28k.

Exactly. We just bought a used 2017, lease return from the original dealer only 15k miles. Ours is the base model. Still the newest car we've ever owned. Ours has nearly none of these features but is still very nice and clean. Electrical engineering degree in college. The one thing they train engineers is the more features something has, the more parts there are to wear out and break. I'm happy to not have auto opening doors, an in car vacuum, etc. I am hugely disappointed in the Uconnect 5.0 stereo that comes with it (van in this video has the Uconnect 8.0). No SiriusXM capability with the Uconnect 5.0, and you cannot upgrade the stereo. Going to places like Car Toys or Best Buy and their website says "we suggest you do not replace this stereo". Who makes a stereo any time in the last decade that does not have SiriusXM ability or at least a possibility to replace it with a better stereo? In order to change out this stereo, it is pretty much a "Pimp My Ride" level of customization. Unbelievable!

Lets not forget even the most recent version of the T&C had atrocious safety crash tests. If your a mommy that wants to ensure your death in front of your children if you should get clipped on front drivers side... buy a Chrysler T&C. Remember these crash tests effect insurance costs. How Chrysler was able to get awayvwith producing unsafe crap for so many years is mind blowing.

One comment on the carseat tipping forward, this will ONLY work for when your child is under ~40 pounds as the LATCH attachments are not to be utilized for kids that are heavier than 40 lbs. Therefore when you move to using the seat belt to fasten your car seat in to the vehicle this feature will become null and void. One thing that you may not think about when all the flashy salesmen show off this feature. This of course is not limited to this vehicle many SUV's now are designed the same way. Some may say well I will move my child to a booster and that is your choice but a 5 point harness is safer than a booster and a seatbelt for smaller children. Can't wait to buy one of these however!!!!!!!!!!

CJ Smith My son is almost 5 and remains in a 5 point harness. I've tried the seat belt as his seat converts to a booster. He didn't look quite big enough for it yet. His weight is questionable though. Speaking of child seats, someone mentioned the head rests can't be removed, therefore boosters with a back don't fit properly.

This will probably continue to be unreliable for many. No Apple CarPlay or Android Auto. May get added later. Uconnect is "sluggish". 2nd row will not stow in the Plug In Hybrid. AWD maybe in the future, the platform can support AWD. If you want one lease it and then decide if you want to keep it.

+Ivan Vojt If UConnect is sluggish, the rest of industry is abysmally slow. Nearly every review of UConnect says it is possibly the best in any car at any price. The hybrid models seats will remove, like every other van in the market has. Last year, out of 500,000 minivans sold, 24,000 were AWD. Less than 5% of people want it. They can buy a Sienna or a Journey. Apple and Andriod are unnecessary when there are so many other options.

EXACTLY. More features means more parts. More parts mean more things that eventually wear out and break. No thank you. This is true not just in cars, but anything. The simpler the item, the longer it will last. Look at your TV remote. How many buttons on it have you never, not even once, used? More features do not necessarily mean better.

Why do Chrysler owners never look at the long and horrendous history of Chrysler Corp's unreliability. They just keep buying Chryslers thinking that car problems are normal or something? Yes, a lot of Fiats influence and engineering is very cool, BUT... will it last??? Also, if you care at all about resale value, you won't but a Chrysler. If you want to spend $45k on a fully loaded vehicle that will be worth less than half before you pay it off... buy Chrysler.

Glad u ask my 16 year old Dodge minivan is all original equipment except for tires, oil, battery, wipers. I use to replace things like points, plugs, mufflers, antifreeze, head lights, turn signal bulb all the time now I don't replace anything but oil and tires. My 8 year old Dodge Durango only replaced oil and a 7 year old battery. My 6 year old Jeep Compass only replaced oil.
